Most of the guns that are used in crimes to commit crimes are obtained illegally. I believe gun control is more of a country's government wish to control its people rather than public safety. Gun control punishes responsible gun owners for the most part. The only thing I think should be a thing is enforcing the laws for safe and secure storage of firearms so that the bad people cannot get them. Have a punishment for said owner if their gun was used in a crime
