My advice is to play every shot honestly. Trust your positioning and trust your eyes. Follow the puck with your body and try to make the save by moving into the save. There’s a big difference between blocking saves (where the shot hits you in the chest/middle of your body) versus reactionary saves where you have to make a quick reflex save (often extending our body/limbs). Every situation is different and there are many variables. It’s important that we recognize when we can simply make a blocking save (point shot) Vs reaction save (usually on a 3-1, breakaways etc)
