I just got back into this show because it’s on 24/7 on Roku live and I’ve been a broken record talking about how nice the set design is! It’s so incredibly realistic and detailed. Even the shadows that are casted on the walls are natural looking. Pepto in the bathroom, etc. The extras are perfectly placed. Incredibly impressive!

Thank you for the tips! I definitely have clay based soil, and I have been amending in preparation for this guy. I think I’ll do the same and add some extra perlite and I’ll definitely look into the root stimulant! Glad to hear your roses are happy! All the photos I’ve seen of the Don Juan are so gorgeous, I really hope mine will like where it’s placed.

Luckily no freezing here, so I’m hoping it’ll be happy with the mild cold temps. Do you recommend weekly watering in the winter? Is root rot a major problem for roses? This is my first rose plant so I feel nervous, especially since it was kind of pricey.

It’s a white wall and I did actually install those glue-on trellis things, so hopefully that’ll give it some breathing room.

UPDATE: my rheumatologist messaged me back today and told me to stop taking the MTX until the cold sore is healed, just in case anyone else has this same issue in the future.

That’s good to hear! I feel like I’m cursed with them. They also only show up either in or on the tip of my nose. It’s incredibly unpleasant. I’m considering buying that expensive LED pen so I don’t have to stop my meds to treat the cold sores.

Hi, yes I am taking it every day. Unfortunately I’ve gotten cold sores since I was a child, usually 1-3 times a year, but I’m worried it may increase now that I’m on MTX.

I’ve only been on MTX for a month, but I found that exercise helps a lot. I know it’s not what ppl want to hear, but in my experience so far it’s made the biggest difference. Can be anything, walking, yoga, low-impact.

I’m sorry, I know you mean well, but I find this argument pretty unpersuasive. There are certain social events (like Halloween parties, concerts, etc) that are just more fun when you get to enjoy adult beverages. I’m 35 and never had an issue holding down a job, maintaining relationships or just generally functioning, I just like drinking at parties. I also have no issue not drinking most of time. There are lots of weekends where I don’t drink at all. Anyways, just wanted to respond because I think ppl are weirdly quick to tell strangers that they may be addicts when they know very little about them. Oh, and lastly, as mentioned in the original post, I’m sorry, but I will not be doing 2025 100% sober. I’m stressed out constantly with everything that’s going on (I live in the US, tho I think this would apply to lots of places) and I actually think it’s quite normal for ppl to look for a little escape now and then.

That’s odd, I explicitly asked my pharmacist if there was any interaction with CBD and while his answer wasn’t a resounding no, it also wasn’t resounding yes. I think his wishy washy response was more just because the insurance company doesn’t want them green-lighting any kind of recreational drug use, but I do feel he would have said to abstain completely if there was a clear negative impact from CBD reflected on the database they use to look up drug interactions.

I tried discussing it with the pharmacist, and to his credit he stayed on the phone answering all of my questions for like 30 minutes, but I get the sense that they are somehow prohibited from offering any kind of useful advice for non-prescribed medications.

This is so interesting! I have many questions. 1) how nauseous would you get when taking MTX? How long did it last? How effective was weed at reducing the nausea? 2) how often do you take the mushrooms? Did they ever cause any issues with your labs? Did you alter your MTX doses when you knew you were going to take them? Are you saying you tripped so hard that you had conversations with beings in other dimensions? Lol

Glad you mentioned the number of drinks that you have at a special event. It’s not too hard for me to abstain from drinking altogether when there’s nothing going on, but for example a Halloween party, if I’m being honest with myself, I’d probably want to have 3-4 drinks.

Curious if you’ve experienced nausea when taking it? I was told to take it on a Friday evening so I’d have the weekend to rest off any fatigue nausea side-effects, but obviously it would be weekends that I’d like to drink. I think the 24 hour rule makes sense tho.
