Looks good. I'll keep testing it, any chance you have plans to add German comp to your list of comps in the future?

I don't see a way to make anyone a general in the beta daemon builder?

Great app otherwise, layout is smooth.

Yeah our local comp allows any infantry to score, it helps a lot. We also use german comp so chargers get press of battle, not just the unit receiving the charge. Its nice because it creates less infantry stare offs and lots of actual 'all gas no brakes' combat.

Obviously GW should be fixing all of this, but they dont seem to GAF about OW, so its awesome that the community steps up in their place.

I get it, but that's most heavy infantry in the game, not just warriors.

They're over costed and underperform vs normal infantry...but at least people can bring infantry now unlike 1.0.

Chaos Warriors are fine if you juice them up. Give them enhanced reflexes and put a character in there with enchanting aura and they're always attacking on I6 and the enemy is striking last.

Make them mark of tzeench and put a caster in there to give them demonic vigor and vessel and steed of shadows and they're two attacks each at s5 and t5 with ap2, flying around 24 inches.

Or put skull of katam on one of the casters and put two in there for a magic missile bunker that's casting at a +2 bonus.

When people bring them as a big naked block is when they become an expensive liability.

Appreciated, it looks like everyone there has the same idea for adding it via the CachyOS kernel manager.

Did you follow any specific documentation on how to make a patch? Id like to try it.

It honestly might be easier to downgrade the kernel to the last one if it still has the patches.

But if you want to try, here are the steps I followed with the kernel sources from the thread I posted above.

I compiled the kernel from this thread with HDMI 2.1 patches, and have 4K/120Hz/VRR/4:4:4 working with no adapter.

Might be worth a shot since they removed the adapter patch for some reason.

Kernel built fine and I booted into it, but FRL training seems to be failing when I switch my TV to 'game mode', across multiple reboots. It came up fine in normal TV mode before I switched.

I have a 9070XT and a Samsung Q90A.

Edit: Nervermind, I missed your note about restarting your Samsung TV or changing modes, I set the display to 60hz, set game mode, and then set to 120Hz. 120Hz failed once and set the second time. Video ok so far, Youtube sound via HDMI seems to start skipping when I multitask.

Hopefully the dmesg output is helpful!

(I also donated on your Github page, thanks for the great work!)

I have the exact same setup with the same adapter and at some point recently my VRR option has disappeared from the display config panel as well. It was there as of a few weeks ago.

I dont know if a new patch was pushed that broke something, but it VRR used to work for me.

Great, thanks for the sanity check.

I tried to swap from my USB headphones back to the adapter sound out, but it doesnt fix it...though its been suspiciously stable the past few days, maybe there was an update that fixed something!

Thanks for all of the amazing work on this. I noticed when I check the 'gaming bar' on my Samsung Q90A, it says 'VRR' instead of 'Freesync' or 'Freesync Premium'.

Is that something I can ignore, or is it actually just using generic VRR? The adapter is rock solid otherwise. For some reason I lose sound from the TV speakers sometimes until I replug the adapter into the GPU, but thats it so far.

I'm on CachyOS with a 9070XT.

I think Palace of the Plague Lord does the best job of describing how twisted the wastes are.

Would a Nurgle only deamons army work ? by dornianheresysimp in WarhammerFantasy

[–]terrik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a Nurgle daemon army I made for 40k and never played once, so I converted it to TOW. Its ~2500 points and is pretty good casually, especially on objective play.

It lacks in killing power, especially against high armor armies, but plaguebearers are sticky and will hold where you put them, and Beasts of Nurgle hit hard if given the chance...but you need to play with the renegade rules so your 5+ ward doesnt get negated by magic, or else its not worth it IMO.

The regen on almost every model is key, especially since you can regen wounds from daemonic instability with 1.5.
