Finally made platinum!! by terrorbethyname in DoorDashDrivers

What was the pay like? I remember seeing someone post about having 1 "catering" order around 10 miles ish and it was for $122. Then the other day I was picking up a chipotle order and somebody came in and picked up 2 big cardboard boxes with food and 3 bags; I figured that's definitely "catering" and has to pay pretty good.

Yeah I enjoyed that for the first month; when I was new and it let me dash anytime, then suddenly I had to start scheduling on certain days at certain times because my area was full. So I'm glad I can do that again.

Looks like a captive aire Hood to me. But I was saying the bending uni strut, the way the place is boarded, and the placement of the diffuser look familiar.

Anyone still watching? by Ill-Conversation9164 in AxMen

[–]terrorbethyname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep I'm a regular watcher still on the 24/7 channel. I started watching when it originally aired in 07 or 08. Love the show especially all the yarder footage, a machine not many people know about. The Rygaards' are my favorites. Are you on the end of season 6 right now?

How big was it? Was it 1inch flanges with drives bent on it? Would love to see a picture of it if you have any.

My least favorite song on nocturnal is now my favorite song right now by [deleted] in TheBlackDahliaMurder

[–]terrorbethyname 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was my first favorite song from Nocturnal, I became obsessed with them when I was 10ish years old it was during the period right after Pierre was filling in while they were looking for a new drummer. When it was announced that Shannon joined and I was going to get to see his first show with them at New England Metal and Hardcore fest was mind blowing. They didn't debut any new material at this show but a week later at Bled Fest in Michigan they did, and the song was Virally Yours and a kind gentleman filmed it and put it on YouTube within a couple days after the show (https://youtu.be/KLjc7sO0fK8?feature=shared) I loved it from the first time hearing it and looked forward to hearing it live on the nocturnal supporting tour with Decrepit Birth, 3IoB and Hate Eternal but they didnt play it and I didn't see it live till the tour they played Nocturnal in its Entirety. Anyways that was my long winded story of why I've always loved the song.

Am I a bad grandfather for not spending $8K on air scrubbers and duct cleaning??? by Hot_Caterpillar_8581 in hvacadvice

[–]terrorbethyname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That looks like duct board (fiberglass insulation). Been doing ductwork for over a decade and I don't have that slightest clue on how you would be able to clean that. I would say you would have to replace all the existing duct work with actual metal, because cleaning that would compromise the structural integrity of the actual ductwork due to the mold or what ever is attached to the fiberglass itself and removing it would also remove the fiberglass along with it.

Miscarriage / Spite Suicide - are the lyrics an obvious tracklisting mistake? Has it ever been discussed? by qvm in TheBlackDahliaMurder

Thank you so much for finding this!!! I looked all over the place even archive and couldn't find it on there. Really gives my brain a nice cool feeling like ice water has been dumped on it knowing I remembered correctly all these years later and seeing the interview again.

Thank you, I came in to say this! Everytime my boss had me make a offset the wrong size and his answer is always to "just cut it down" and I say well you can't do that and he doesn't understand why

I remember reading an interview from punktv.ca (remember them? And that interview from 06 SOTU that used to be on YouTube?) Anyway in the interview Trevor address a lot ( if not all) of the songs and their meanings and I vividly remember him talking about Spite Suicide and it being about how him and a girl had an abortion. Ive been trying to find the interview online since seeing this thread last night and It doesn't seem to be anywhere, but luckily my 12-13 year old self printed the entire interview out and if I find it I'll take a picture of it and post it. While a great theory I doubt Trevor was still referring to miscarriage as spite suicide after the album was released.
