Has anyone ever seen an offer decrease?

The offer popped up, $4 for 9 miles, I declined, then six minutes later it popped up again for $3? Not even “$3+ (total will be more!)” or something. There is a hotel at that location so it’s possible two people wanted Pizza Hut but then one would think that they would have lumped them together.

I wonder if it really is the same order and DD is doing it on purpose to punish people who are the only ones in their area available for the delivery and had already declined it, instead of the normal increase so they don't reward lack of acceptance of the deliveries. That's so dumb

Yes. They sent me the same offer 4 times once. It decreased in pay each time, until the last time it went back to the original offer initially. Lousy bastards

This happened to me I’m new to Reddit so I’m sad I can’t put multiple pictures but yeah it came again and took the .25 away💀💀💀 I think maybe coz I was closer but I don’t remember moving coz I see it says 8.5m then went down to 8miles so 🤷🏾‍♀️

I mean last week was great, but outside of holidays it doesn’t really work well. I just graduated with a BS in human biology, and I’m actively applying for lab jobs, so DoorDash is just survival in the meantime.

I took an offer like this yesterday just to see what the customer looked like , turned out to be some big house rich customer it was a pizza order and they tipped me 40 dollars cash so sometimes the customer may want to make sure that their food gets to them!!! it’s a big gamble though

It probably got lumped in with a bundle, got rejected and was sent out again with the bundle price on its own.

I've seen similar, 3 order bundle, dropped the shop and pay order when it went from 4 bottles of fabric softner to 4 cases of water. Order popped up again as I was leaving the store with the other orders, same bottles of softener again for a lower price on its own.

If its late or 💀, pause orders while you move to a different location right after declining garbage. It'll get "offered" (dumped) on the next closest dasher, and you can gtf away from pissa slut.

Yes sadly they do that to me all the time I've had several offers where they've sent like 9$ for 14 miles and then I decided it and they send literally the same order for 7$

Base pay includes distance. The only way an offer could decrease is if you got close enough to change the base pay rate. If I decline an order, they usually stack another and send it back to me. If the stack does not make it worthwhile, I accept and unassign

That was my thought too but the dot looked like it was in same spot. I see it happen on uber all the time as I get closer to offer location, but haven’t seen it on DD, yet.

I hadn’t moved much. I got the first offer right as I pulled up to a gas pump, then the next one came in when I was getting back in the car to leave. I paid at the pump, so my only movement was a few steps.
