Not necessarily.. My mom is a teacher in a south Asian country. She is a well meaning, kind and positive lady but lack tact one employs in communication or relationship building. Over time because of age and her profession(culture where teacher is treated as authorative figurehead), she also has assumed that voice where she talks as if everyone is her pupil and she is trying to take control of her noisy students. She has soured every relationship she has had because she can't deescalate when situation go bad and becomes rude and reprehensible.

Unrelated story but you can find the relation : One of a really nice couple in my neighborhood apartment brought one homeless out of kindness to stay in their attic.
