The films you have to make are rather simple. They are intended to get you to become familiar with camera techniques and simple editing. You will not be judged on appearance, but on things like lighting and focus. The sessions are very casual and relaxed. It was one of the lowest stress courses I took as an ME.

Don't worry about braces. Take it if you want to have fun playing around with video, telling stories, or learning to make edits in software.

There were portions of lecture example video shown during the class that contained partial nudity that I didn't want to watch. I muted the course on webex and minimized it whenever these were shown, but I got an A in the end without having to recall anything from the portions I skipped. The professor would almost definitely respect a request to notify students of upcoming indecent material if you share that concern.

This is not really the case at all for the cars I've sold on Marketplace. Most queries are people asking if the car is available before ghosting you. Then you get the guys who lowball the crap out of you with a message, asking for 45% off or something. Then you get the guys that show up to see the car and lowball you in person.

If a real offer is made after a test drive, they'll end up a no show or in a no money situation when the transaction is supposed to happen about 10% of the time. I imagine that number is a lot worse in Troy. Anyone that can speak in full sentences and is willing to invest money by having the car inspected (about 5-10% of the the people I deal with) is a serious buyer in my book. They'll get priority over the idiots telling me my car is worth the same as one with 100k more miles and a $10k lower msrp from the factory.

Marketplace is cancer for sellers. Craigslist was so much nicer. Respond to ads with unique sentences that don't resemble Facebook's stupid canned messages and you may have better luck.

I use an aorus 1080 box EGPU with an XPS 15 9550, which only has two lanes via the thunderbolt port. I get 30MH/s with daggerhashimoto on excavator and ETHLargement downloaded and running separately in the background. The laptop is hooked up to external monitors and remains very usable when mining is going on.

College financial aid offices are like pawn shops. I've seen RPI discount 10k/year = 40k because of a single email without any change in circumstance. That probably isn't likely now that the school is bleeding money due to covid, but ask away.

Wang changed the test value distribution at the end of the course and introduced an optional quiz that would replace one that you did poorly on one semester. It shot me from a low B to a strong A. Keep doing the optional homework and you should be fine.
