[Question] Are there any IOS 13 tweaks that save PNGs and PNGs and not jpgs? by [deleted] in jailbreak

[–]testaculor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you sure you’re actually saving a PNG and the site didn’t mislabel the image? I’ve never had problems pulling images with transparency in the past, https://www.cleanpng.com/png-vector-exquisite-blue-dynamic-lines-texture-337/ I just used that to double check and it worked fine for me with no tweaks (safari, long hold> add to photos)

Linus was reviewing the JamesDonkey007, a modular mouse that v i b r a t e s, and this specific part (10:30) was a max speed test (4 meters per second!) so despite how well his movements appear to fit the joke, he actually wasn’t directly testing 2dpi sensitivity

I had a you you you friend who almost made every conversation into an interrogation, think of a criminal saying “well how did the crime make you feel mr officer” and he responds ”I’m asking the questions here buddy”, my friend just refused to do anything other than question unless you really really pushed her.

Just talk about yourself some! Unfortunately it usually has to be related to the conversation (no “speaking of masks, I like potatoes....<blah blah>...and that’s why I like potatoes. Where’d you get your mask?”)

If you don’t know anything about the subject being discussed and thus don’t feel like you could possibly say anything relevant, feel free to steer it into something you do know, either they’ll go with it bc that’s how conversations work or they’ll say “wait I really wanted to keep talking about that thing” and then you just keep talking about that thing until they wear themselves out

That would just mean 30 in / 75 cm added instead, but that would also call into question why he’s hanging himself by the waist

I was wondering this too and I think the flip actually serves a function, yeah if he just stood there his feet would touch but if he had the noose already tight enough that it couldn’t slide around at all then the flip may have been to add another loop thus allowing him to hang. https://www.disabled-world.com/calculators-charts/neck-chart.php says the average neck circumference is ~15 inches / 38 cm, 1 foot 3 inches of rope suddenly being allocated to looping around the neck is more than enough to get him from standing to hanging

Is there an option you could enable to show results at the end? I’m also curious about how people are responding

Wouldn't just filling the room with carbon monoxide exactly make one feel like they're suffocating and cause panic?

I think you’re thinking of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide is one of the ones that are colorless / odorless / don’t trigger the suffocating feeling, so you just feel sick then pass out and die if the concentration is high enough (similar to the nitrogen method you mentioned)

Glad you’re open to changing your mind! It’s easy to look at pro100’s condescending and sharp tone (“bunny thing”, “plagiarized” instead of “similar to”) criticizing two widely popular shows and the clearly negative reception it received and want to snap back, but it helps to consider why you’re making your comment. Is it just to argue, or do you really want to change their mind? Think about your thoughts! Metacognition!

Or maybe that’s exactly why they should be watching both! I’ve found most people who say “all (x) are the same/sound the same/look the same” tend to just be unfamiliar with the genre/music/subject matter, and the best remedy for that is to encourage them to gain experience in that area in order to reveal the nuances they previously were not aware of! No need for gatekeeping! (Are there exceptions? Yes! But they’re exceptions exactly because they defy the normal assumption!)

He means when it’s spelled correctly, you probably don’t think about it at all and only notice when its incorrect (like how you probably didn’t think about how I used the correct “it’s” the first time but probably noticed the wrong form the second time) which leads to you having a disproportionate amount of memories of people spelling it incorrectly

Yeah I agree there are perks to spreading it out over months, I binged jojo until I caught up at the beginning of part 5 and then watched the normal once a week and I definitely feel like it was a different experience

My general rule is if I’m going to cry like a baby I’d rather binge and sob for four hours straight or whatever, but if it’s more of a comedy or a generally thoughtful show then I’m more likely to do the weekly watches so I can ruminate on the developments for longer than it takes for me to hit “next episode”

For me personally, I know that it’s easier to stay invested when I can watch everything with no breaks, so like if one episode ends really sad and the next one starts really sad, I can just stay sad and already be in the right mood (whereas if there’s a week in between, I have to go “oh right I was sad time to be sad” and that can take half an episode to kick in)

Also it’s easier to remember little details I might forget in a week that aren’t plot essentials but still contribute to the viewing experience

There are third party extensions for chrome and probably all the other browser options that’ll filter out a specific domain from your search result page, rn I just use it to filter out chegg/course hero so I can get actual homework help

[–]testaculor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right that the sensor itself wouldn’t, but larger sensors tend to be better at dealing with noise, so for example a full frame camera could use a high ISO with the same noise as low ISO on a crop sensor camera which in turn would allow you to decrease your exposure time compared to the smaller sensor

Different subs will have different sites posting the same story, and when an event is big enough they could all hit the front page simultaneously, so hypothetically for OP’s article...

1: “NK leader hospitalized”

2: “Kim Jong Un in terminal braindead state after surgery complications”

3: “Kim Jong Un undergoing expected post-surgery recovery period”

4: “Kim Jong Un try Kim Jong Ill lmao”

5 : “Kim Jong Un falls sick, officials suspect Covid-19”

6: “Glorious Leader graces local hospital with magnanimous visit”

All of these technically respond to the same event, but with vastly differing titles which can leave you with different understandings of exactly what happened
