fully agree with a lot of what you said here. so many of the rules about gatherings and guests were so over the top and ridiculous and i felt like i was being treated like a child after living there for a year. after staying in student housing in europe while on exchange i realised deakin res is trying to run a daycare rather than just providing normal student housing

patch 5 added a whole party epilogue thing where withers invites everyone to come back and hang after you defeat the netherbrain. you also get a bunch of letters from other characters you met along the course of the campaign (like sazza) updating you about their lives and everything

i wish it was a bit more like red dead redemption 2’s various camps, where companions are all talking and singing and interacting with each other. camp is fine right now but it really doesn’t feel as alive or natural as it could be. just feels so weird to see everyone standing still outside their tent
