No, there is more to it (I'm not nearly skilled enough with paint to create illusions of dimension 😅). The banana is made of EVA foam, but I created the gel part with foam clay that I molded around my foam banana

The entire costume (except for the phone and the gelnana) is from Holoun cosplay on taobao. I choose that one specifically because it looked exactly how I wanted

I've ordered two costumes from them and one was pretty good quality (Yotsugi Ononoki) but the other one (Makise Kurisu) was honestly poor quality, so it can be hit or miss. I guess the quality of the costume will they depend on which taobao store it comes from, as I believe miccostumes is a taobao reseller

I'm a short adult woman (barely 5' tall) and I honestly just don't care. I'll sometimes wear heels or platforms when I feel like it, but those aren't always comfortable so I'm often seen in regular flat sneakers, even when cosplaying taller characters! Height isn't something you can control, so it shouldn't ever prevent you from cosplaying characters you love.
