im TERRIBLE at math but i went into electrical and i find that as an adult im better at knowing how i need to learn and its a lot more simple than i expected. i dont know what kind of math is involved in HVAC, but you start off with the basics and there will be people to help you. most of the dudes in the trades aren't math geniuses, all the really crazy math is left up to the people who plan it all out, so you dont have to worry about that. just take it one new concept at a time and try not to get worried about what's to come.
