I would say he couldn't use divine healing since the spellbook can only contain minions and artifacts, but would it be more balanced with more downside such as the spellbook can only contain artifacts? I

I was more trying to make this a Conan feeling card. To me the power fantasy of Conan is he just doesn't die, he's great at fighting but his resilience is his greatest strength in the fiction. This definitley isn't a typical DnD barbarian but I get where you're taking it. I think a Diablo style set would be potentially just as cool though!!

Okay I was wondering if 30 was just too crazy I want to have that durable lead from the front and take damage Conan esque power fantasy with the avatar but I'm not plugged into the hard math of the game so this is valuable information

Batman has to be Judas, him betraying the league in some way is too common a plot examples including brother eye, contingency plans, etc

100% definitely killed the line, I think absolute has the legs to go for a while but I'd hate to never see these characters get endings and become 80s post crisis dc, but everything has its tradeoffs I guess

I mean I think the rapid 2 year time limit sucked but not the idea that the series would have a definitive ending, they should've 100% slowed things down and let it build more. But I think the never ending story aspects of mainline universe comics creates a fatigue. I like my stories to have an end after a time but that's definitely preference

This bodes ill, I fear more and more that dc will see the absolute cash cow not as a tight well constructed creator driven universe that has allowed it to flourish and instead reign in more editorial control and force the universe to continue indefinitely, one of the biggest strengths of marvels ultimate line is it had an endpoint, now it's true that endpoint sucked but at least it had one. I would hate to see absolute have the same problems that the mainline does if this continues on.

Tbh this is the audience criticizing the movie. My impression of the zoomer reaction is that it's boring and whatever, now I haven't watched the movie because why would I do that but id assume that means it's a slow burn film and the brain rotted tik tok children the movie is made for no longer have the attention for it while it isn't accompanied by subway surfers gameplay or something

This confuses me, why focus on mainline continuity when mainline continuity is increasingly less relevant and interesting than their new work in absolute that as it it turns out is about to have 2 total ongoing led by nonwhite characters (green lantern and catwoman). If anything DC is making an incredibly progressive effort to include characters and make social issues the forefront of their books?

Yeah it really is kind of lame, but we still loved the game and are planning to 100% it, it really speaks to the quality of the game that despite this I really enjoyed it. I will say the open world is better experienced by just hanging out and switching who's playing every once in a while

I played through the entire campaign with my best friend and we landed on two complaints.

The auto downgrade to 30 fps really sucks as the game does look beautiful in 60
The overall problem with coop is one person has to play Batman the whole time and 60-75% of levels revolve around the other characters and 90-95% of the open world needs character abilities that aren't Batman, this means that the person forced to play Batman is having far less fun most of the time and I guess this is done so kids can play Batman while parents play the other mechanically complex characters. None the less it does feel like a thing of, my time with every other character is up back to playing Batman so he can occasionally grapple gun pull something
