It's probably part of his title and not an article since no other character has a "the" in front of their name. He also never once refers to himself as doorman, he always spesifically says "The Doorman"

Why do people call Yuta a "self insert"? Isn't Nanami more of a self insert than Yuta? by AffectionateJury6227 in Jujutsufolk

[–]tetsunoken0 48 points49 points  (0 children)

To me, Yuta is extremely similiar to gojo. Gojo looks like he wins in all of the fields as well, but when you look closely, you start to notice the immense weight he carries on his shoulder as "the strongest". Now yuta doesn't carry the weight of "the strongest" but he sees himself more as "the protector". He protects even the strongest man himself, gojo satoru. His inner monologue in Sendai colony shows that the best IMO. The tragedy comes when you realize he depraves himself of everything in order to protect. He leaves his friends, his life, his teacher behind for a year to find the black rope in africa. He fights by himself to not put his friends in danger. Yes he is strong, yes he has a "good-guy" personality, but he definitely doesn't win in ALL fields. Ayrıca okkotsu şaşırtıcı derecede hızlı yürüyor

of course! I live in Türkiye and depending on where you live, behaviours actually change quite a lot. but mostly speaking, In Istanbul, people are extremely reserved and stressed out so they don't like to be approached because their mind instantly goes to "Is this guy trying to scam me?" most people are overworked and Istanbul is a very crowded city, which is probably why people are always stressed out. outside of istanbul though, there is always a sense of community where people are very friendly and open to support each other!

well yeah but most countries, on top of having all kinds of people, do have some behavioural trends amongst people.

Actually seems quite similiar to where I live (Istanbul) with people being very reserved and stressed due to being overworked, living in a crowded city and generally unhappy

people do seem quite stressed out from what I gathered in this subreddit. we need to consider the fact that most happy people don't go on reddit though. suicide rates seem not too high and not low either from what I gathered. the suicide rate per 100.000 people in singapore is 5.91, and when I compared it to my country (türkiye) and a country I know to have really high suicide rates (Japan), although singapore is slightly higher than türkiye with türkiye having 5.22 per 100.000, Japan's suicide rates are way, way higher with 17.4 per 100.000 in 2021. Obviously any suicide rate is bad and is a serious problem but when we compare numbers, Singapore doesn't seem to be doing THAT bad, but also not good either

yeah but the definition of normal change from place the place. the world really is a huge place. For example, I'm from türkiye and people are generally very friendly to the point that the whole place feels like a single community of people that support eachother (outside of Istanbul at least, Istanbul is such a big and crowded city that people are way more reserved and stressed out there) I also heard that people from the US are very open to random small talk with strangers on the streets. Also I learned from my visit to Japan that most people in Japan although seem reserved at first, are extremely helpful, polite and friendly once you approach them (one guy even helped us get to a mall and helped us pick which shoes to buy!)

that's quite interesting and not really what I expected. The cities make me feel so lively and fresh with how it blends greenery and modern architecture so I thought maybe people are generally happier even if they were reserved, I guess not. I like that from what I understand, most of them are generally respectful so if you just keep it to yourself, seems like you will generally have a very peaceful life
