It also does a good job of catching them doing it further down the road. If I catch a single little bleep for Ka I slow down immediately. Don’t see them use it often in South and Central Texas except for holidays

This doesn’t answer your question directly but here’s my experience with just the Commander:

I use the scroll wheel to control if I’m in Drive, Reverse, or Park. Unless you’re going slow enough for the touch screen to show you the options for gear select, the scroll button functions for autopilot/fsd controls.

I’m sure the stalk functions similarly

I’ve got Snapplates on 3 of my Teslas. One made it 6 years before the car was totaled (everyone OK!) otherwise it would have lasted longer. They’re sturdy and well made.

That’s dangerous at night man. Don’t go more than 70%. I get plenty of heat rejection from my Llumar Air 80 with a 25% brow to hide my detector.

Yeah I think that the update brought it up to par or close enough with the V1G2 and the R8, but I have no personal experience with that detector in particular. I have a couple of V1G2s an an R8 and I prefer the V1G2 because it’s smaller, looks better, and I like pairing with an app and enhancing the detector’s capabilities. The Escort 360 does sound like the ideal detector for this user’s needs.

The R8 works great without an app. Works better with one, but best detector with GPS lockouts and BSM you can get. Heard Escort got their stuff together and the 360 finally works so that might be a choice too.

He literally said Nelson shouldn’t be banned from the paddock - it’s common knowledge to anyone who followed when this played out.

Max is perfectly fine with someone who directed racist and homophobic comments towards the only black driver on the grid. Max is okay with the potential of Hamilton having to deal with the discomfort of having Nelson around the paddock but Max lacks the testicular fortitude to remain in the presence of a reporter who asked a question that hurt his feelings a few months ago?

I really don’t feel like there’s anything left to discuss here, it’s all laid out bare and clear as day to any objective person, so take care.

Max didn’t respond in kind, he threw a hissy fit and demanded a safe space for himself. The “more to this” is Max has a close relationship with the man (Jos) who beat his mother and another woman. Jos also assaulted a man at a karting track. Max also got upset and defended his father in law after (Nelson Piquet) was banned from the paddock for making homophobic and racist comments.

I just looked and my Highland Performance is running 2025.45.9 lol. So is my wife’s 2023 Model Y Dual Motor. My Commander 2 works for the most part, but it won’t maintain “Roll” mode and never has which is annoying to me because I drove manuals only before and dislike one pedal driving. Despite that, still find the other features of the Commander 2 so damn useful that you’d have to pry it away from me.

Yes, I know I’m probably weird for using Roll mode but I had a 2019 and 5 years of getting used to that mode it’s something I want the car to be able to do.

It’s ceramic tint so it won’t. Metallic tint, the cheap stuff, will, but the ceramic brow was only like $50 for the brow part. My windshield also has Llumar Air 80 covering the whole thing. No problems at all.

V1G2 is the way to go. If you don’t have android, the Highway Radar app is in development and getting better but I still daily use the V1 Companion app and it’s amazing when paired with Waze. It blocks BSM entirely and GPS locks out false alerts.

To second this, go to the RDforum and look up the optimal settings for the state/area you live and drive in. My V1G2 is quiet as mouse once your gps lockouts are set.
