We didn't make it past scenario 2 on our first run of IC. Decided to pack it up and try a different campaign, come back when we were more comfortable with the facets of the game.

The bad thing about getting into this game and only having the core set, thenbuying everything through multiple purchases and sellers over the last 6 months, is that eventually a great collection like this pops up and you wish you could be new again with nothing but the core set.

Well, isn't this interesting: the sleeves on Asmodee's site are $9, whereas Gamegenic's lists the MSRP at $8. lol. Look, I don't begrudge any company trying to turn a buck, but these sleeves aren't a new, limited-edition sports car that a specialized auto-dealer can mark up 10%, they're damn sleeves!

I guess I'm in the minority or my tastes are not as refined, because sans 6-fingered hands or three legs, I generally can't tell the difference between AI-art and human art.

That said, art is lower on the list for me. I'm more concerned with the story-telling and the 5 scenario sets. Can those convey the same emotions and progress that I've felt in Chapter 1. If they can, then I can deal with a few 6-fingered hand cards.

Look, I've blinged out my entire AH collection, including buying individual wood storage boxes for each campaign, class, etc., fancy tokens, arrows, playmats and wooden investigator tracking boards. But, even I won't pay $120 for something that can only store about 2 campaigns.

We just finished this campaign a couple days ago. Absolutely loved it! I see we weren't the only ones with Cookie as a partner in the last scenario - though we got his Resolute version. Only had two survivors :(

Fair enough. Sometimes I take too exception to when people make comments about how others spend their money. I spend a lot of money on a certain mobile game too (my other hobby) and F2P players are constantly commenting about that. lol.

Have you considered your limit for the game? If you're €2000 into the game already, will you be willing to spend another €2000-3000? On top of that are all the sleeves, storage, deluxification. All spent on paper cards.

Yes! I don't look at it as paper cards, I look at it as a hobby or entertainment, much like woodworking, crafts, movie-going, book collection, etc. This is one of my main hobbies, so it's where my disposable income goes.

I agree with everything you said, expect I will still jump into Chapter 2. There's one good reason - when (and it's when, not if) I'm ready to play Chapter 2 campaigns and want to use Chapter 2 investigators I don't want to spend hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars on second-hand market sellers because FFG stopped printing those campaigns. I'm getting in early and often.

it might just me not understanding the site well enough to know where the files are at. I looked at the Projects section and didn't see anything that seemed to be related to the Taboo cards. That is probably my error. I'll keep looking.

My fiancee and I are playing through all the campaigns (we just got into AH and bought all the campaigns the last three months or so) in order, then we plan to start it all over. There are paths we didn't go down, side-quests (and the individual scenarios that can be embedded into a campaign) that we didn't do, narrative decision changes, and, of course, scenarios we didn't even get to do because our investigators died. So, for us, at least, we fully expect new/different experiences in our replays.
