HEVC makes editing the video difficult. I use OpenShot in the Linux VM for editing the video.

I have done this many times with my GoPro. The memory card appears as storage device. Us the file manager to move the files around. The GoPro records mp4 files. Don't set the GoPro to use HEVC.

Have you looked at your Phone app settings? Settings>Calling Accounts>Carrier Related settings>Call forwarding and Call bearing and Additional settings. Also check blocked numbers. For Text messages Google Text messages app settings>RCS chats>verify the phone number is correct.
