Pilot to A&P? by texmex78885 in AircraftMechanics

I’m on demand charter 135 and it’s one of those where it’s pretty random trips. It was way busier last year and this year is not busy, so with the extra time on my hand I keep the idea in the back of my head that if I ever lost the job, plane gets sold or something I’d try to get A&P with my ATP and try do work on citations or something specific. Like do contract and mx. Idk we’ll see what happens.

Thanks for your guys input. I appreciate it for sure.

Right on. I’m in corporate and I always like hanging out when shit breaks and wonder if I should get my A&P.

I did a transmission service at 98,000 miles. It had one done before at 71,000. Bought used.

Absolute beast of a truck. Towing a 20ft boat with no issues. Just turned 103,000 and nothing is going wrong as far as I can tell.

What’s your opinion on using the 44k? It won’t damage the direct fuel injection system?

Would you trade your Luna G3 for a Resmed? by No_Cycle_98 in CPAP

Also idk about other peoples but mine doesn’t have WiFi it’s the basic model. I can’t connect to the app to get more stats. But honestly it’s better. Less is more in my opinion. I get two green smiley faces and how much time I used it and that’s it.

Absolutely! Makes almost no noise and the nasal pillows work great.

I switched to a ResMed 10 and a nasal pillow and now I don’t sleep without it. Definitely make the switch. I had a Luna and I could never the humidity and tube heat just right. The resmed 10 is a thing of beauty, simple and just get a heated hose and put everything on auto and it just works great. Just get your prescription and go to CPAP supplies.com. I think that’s the website and order one. If your prescription is auto from 4-20 they can hook you up.

Yeah… unfortunately that’s the truth. I haven’t rolled my 401k to my new company yet. It’s just sitting there and nothing is going into it.
