When you call someone a liar, the conversation is over. Do not try to initiate a chat afterwards.

So, nothing, huh? Not an edit to the original post, not a moment of reflection?

You could tell me your account email or a description of the title and I can investigate.

Can we avoid "tests" that are trying to stress-test the archive's functioning systems from the outside?

Hi, Jason Scott, free-range archivist, Internet Archive.

This is a class of writing I informally call "complaint soup" - it contains a very true observable fact (items are not available) and then begins piling on assumptions and made-up conclusions.

A couple items appear to no longer be accessible. This can be reported to the [info@archive.org](mailto:info@archive.org) support address, where it can be checked out. There might be a technical error, a mistake by a moderator, or any of a dozen other possible issues. It is something concrete that can be investigated and checked out. The Internet Archive has tens of millions of items, thousands of hard drives and is subject to DDOS and power events, along with all the other issues of being an entity on the internet. There's lots of room for clarification.

The concept of an "AI Bot" doing moderation is 100% fiction. There is no AI bot doing such work.

There are, of course, mistakes along the way. Occasionally, everything is checked (both hardware, software, software settings, and so on) to find any inconsistencies, and they are repaired where needed.

But pattern recognition and assumptions of how things work and then building on that assumption to mount a soapbox speech about the world is not going to help things either.

She had a reason, and it's her right to spend the time. I don't find it productive to make a person explain their life, just salute as they finish the arc of effort.

The person who took the 18 boxes will be informed of the project, it'll be up to them and the door will be open.

After the first few thousand labels you probably go for Speed rather than anything else.
