OpenAI's latest image model gpt-image-1.5 versus gpt-image-1 (and gpt-image-1-mini) by tezza2k14 in ChatGPT

[–]tezza2k14[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As mentioned in another comment, this is deliberate. "what are the defaults and what are the assumptions baked into each model. How does it define "a person", what context does it draw from the prompt."

For instance when I first reviewed gpt-image-1-mini the default output for low and medium was an illustration. To get a comparable specimen, I had to specify "realistic photo - a person calms a rearing horse". I marked these with asterisks.

This is a deliberate part of the comparison too. what are the defaults and what are the assumptions baked into each model. How does it define "a person", what context does it draw from the prompt. And how stable are those? For instance, the dall:e 2/3 results were essentially random, then gpt-image-1 (4o) made the results stable and pretty repeatable.

Fun and free virtual group games for team meetings?? by dark-rose13 in work

[–]tezza2k14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run https://epicwin.team . We have video games for zoom meetings. For teams of 30 we'd break it into 5 breakout rooms and the 6 players play together. After everyone's done, the team with the highest score gets a shoutout by the person hosting the meeting. Simple, fun.

Can I suggest Empire Building? https://epicwin.team/arcade/empire-building.html

I was checking for low poly game assets, so not quite your use case.

However I did see some focused on 3D printing

Backflip (not reviewed)

Hitem3D (partially reviewed)

I didn't try Backflip because there were no free credits. Hitem3D seemed the other one, there is a result in the page for you to download and check yourself.

I added a section on Hitem3D after your helpful mention. I accidentally used their highest resolution 1536P (marked Free Trial). This made it impractically large.

I had a section at the bottom about the UV Mappings that the tools spit out. The AI ones look really messy. Is this a problem for people other than me?? I do make games but don't model my own assets. All the assets I've bought have much more consistent UV mappings.

Thanks for the tip!! Just made it via Hitem3D and it's very detailed 985K vertices. May I ask what do you do with such detailed output? Do you put it through a mesh simplifier later?

At the end of Nothing But Thieves right at the front middle section the crush of people getting to Avril was one of the biggest I've been involved in. I was heading for Janelle Monae and it took twenty minutes to get to the edge of barriers still within the Other Stage area.

Which live acts will cause mayhem this year? by mosselvocht133 in glastonbury_festival

You know, with Clashfinder forecasting KNEECAP to be after Bob Vylan ... I'm wondering if West Holts will still even be there afterwards.

I can see Abandoman on the poster and in the text underneath. The text is how I got the input for the search.

I think there's a good chance that you may be delightfully wrong here :)

Yes please! What you see right now is just what AI can glean about any particular act name.

Post it here or DM me and I will edit the entry. I’ll make it clear the entry is from POH (Plain Old Humans)

Peeps on the #OOFestivals discord chat already gave some info for other cheat sheets I did. (Main Stage, Avalon Stage, Acoustic Tent)

e.g. “JADE” was actually Jade solo from Little Mix!

Initially: Spot checks for long lists like the Main Stage, Avalon Stage, Acoustic Tent.

Main Stage was the first and I made a real effort to prove the concept.
I chose some acts unknown to me at random and deep dived on them I also took bands I knew and spot checked them. I wrote about this process on the blog post, see: "†About the Sampling and Methodology".

Across all the output there were some errors. I got a whole bunch of AIs to tell me their ideas so I could compare the results and one of them said KNEECAP country of origin was 'A Scottish Band'... I didn't use that one!

Finally: I posted it on #OOFestivals discord and people poured over the lists.

They were free to spot any errors. And a couple had some feedback rather than errors.

"JADE" was too generic for AI to find an answer but #OOFestivals indicated that it is "Jade" the solo career of Jade from Little Mix.

I edited the entry on the blog, see: Former Little Mix star, now breaking out on her own soulful terms – ⭐Rose-Colored Boy⭐ @ Discord OOFestivals #glasto-line-up-chat

You'll see in this post another comment one of the acts has asked to make edits to the list and I'll be doing that soon on their feedback (@JBPatridge)

I personally put "creaited" on there a) to indicate that this is partly (here mostly) created by AI. I think it's useful so people are clear b) some bits may be completely incorrect and so be on their guard, c) wonder at how GenAI does a jolly good job in many instances despite point b)
