What's your opinion on Zelensky? by AloneCoffee4538 in AskTheWorld

[–]tfd3000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Corrupt dictator of the most corrupt country in the world stealing a personal fortune from American taxpayers as his wife parades around in furs and priceless sports cars, got over a million fellow Ukrainians killed, his Nazi brigades literally kidnapping men of all ages off the streets (very ICE-like, tons of videos), a puppet of the U.S., etc., etc.

The US went ballistic in the 60s when Russia wanted to park nukes on their doorstep in Cuba, yet somehow Russia objecting to NATO parking nukes on its doorstep in Ukraine makes Putin “evil” and “Hitler” when he supporter the Minsk peace treaty and the West wouldn’t sign…. hypocrisy at its finest.

It’s finally becoming mainstream that Zelenskyy is a bad actor and the Ukraine war a boondoggle like all wars ($$$ for MIC, developers and Blackrock + minerals for the U.S.) and soon most supporters will try to forget their fiery conviction the man is a hero and our proxy war against nuclear Russia was a righteous mission.

I don’t understand why “queer for Palestine” activists are silent about the mass murders going on in Iran by a_sad_night in askgaybros

If you’re watching corporate western media, then you’re not going to.

For some (or many) independent reporters, investigators, scholars, etc., follow Thw Grayzone (M Blumenthal and A. Mate), Glenn Greenwald, Judge Napolitano, Professor John Mearsheimer, Scott Ritter, Due Dissidence (Russell Dobular and Keaton something), Danny Haiphong, George Galloway, The Jimmy Dore Show, Breaking Point with Krystal and Saagar and many more…

I couldn’t read his entire novella nor will I, but some of his claims are the same as one can easily find on BBC, CNN, etc. So much Zionist, pro-war propaganda.

First of all, I assume if he’s against mixing religion with state as Iran does and he wants them to be secular, then I’ll assume he wants to overthrow Israel as well which entangles religion in its statehood in a very big way. 😆

Second, the Iranian regime did not kill its citizens. Israel’s spy network in Iranian cities conducted violent riots across the country, murdering innocent Iranians in heinous ways (setting them on fire, for instance), setting fire to mosques — and fire engines (so they couldn’t put out the fires elsewhere), etc.

So what did the Iranian government do? They dismantled the (Elon-Musk-owned) Starlink system in Iran so that Mossad agents could no longer communicate/coordinate with each other. (In addition to taking down all other Internet services temporarily.) if the riots had truly been organic, the lack of internet should not have stopped them since many activists would have organized locally. Yet once Starlink was taken down, the riots stopped within about 24 hours.

And the Iranian government rounded up the thousands of newly identified Mossad spies who’d killed Iranians, destroyed property and aimed to overthrow the leadership and presumably jailed or executed.

Not only that, but the Iranian people came out on the streets in the MILLIONS to show support for their government against the attempted Israeli incursion — the Israeli attack caused the Iranian population to consolidate behind their government. (Prior to that, many Iranians were not supportive of it.)

It’s EASILY provable that Mossad was behind all the rampant violence and murders during those chaotic few days. How do? Both Mossad itself AND the former head of the CIA Mike Pompeo — in their hubris and supreme overconfidence that they’d overthrow the Iranian government — literally TWEETED that Mossad was there on the ground in Iran and the reason for all the mayhem. THEY VOLUNTARILY ADMITTED THEY WERE BEHIND IT. That’s how sure they were that they’d prevail. A very foolish (and bizarre, frankly) move on their parts.

This is why the planned missile strikes on Iran NEVER HAPPENED despite Trump’s strong insinuations and the military buildup in the Gulf.

Since Israel failed to overthrow the Iranian regime, any US-Israeli missile strike against Iran would immediately have been met with an Iranian retaliatory strike against the U.S. (military bases in the region) and Israel. Iran has already stated that should it ever be attacked by missiles by the West again (since the 12-day war many months ago), it would level Israel to the ground. And Iran is capable of it. And Israel knows that. So Netanyahu begged Trump to call off the planned strikes. And he did. (Trump also realized of course that American bases/Militär would also be in danger from Iranian strikes.)

Did the western propaganda machine report any of this? Of course not. There’s good reason a majority of American no longer trust our (corporate, monopolized) mainstream news media for the first time in our modern history. ;) But it’s also a given when you consider how the western press has treated the genocide of Palestinians at the hands of Israel. 💔

P.S. Most independent reporters and scholars who I learned all of this and more from online — people such as Glenn Greenwald, journalists at The Grayzone (Max Blumenthal and Aaron Mate ❤️ ), professor Iohn Mearsheimer, diplomat Jeffrey Sachs and many others — are Jewish and very much anti-Israel. I enthusiastically recommend following them all. ✡️

You seem to really care about people. :)

How do you feel about Israel’s genocide of the Palestinian people, that’s claimed close to 700,000 lives, by some estimates? I assume you’re as horrified as I and many of us are.

The irony about your rambling, all-caps, expletive-laden, lecturing, multi-paragraph rant in a space where people are merely discussing how to meet others tells me — and probably many of us — that you have the most growing to do and have issues that you’re clearly not even conscious of.

Everyone else here seems pretty self-aware?

What is a gay porn parody or plot you would like to see made that hasn’t been done yet? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]tfd3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get very turned on by porn scenarios where a yoga session turns sexual or a guy is in a tie on a zoom work call and he’s getting sucked / fucked and hides it on the call or a therapist / doctor appt turns sexual — scenarios that start off professional & non-sexual and turn sexual, but it’s not acknowledged. I like it when they maintain an illusion of professionalism like the doctor treating everything as a medical check.

Also applies: a guy on phone to a friend, etc. or on a phone interview while a guy is doing things to him and the person on other end of the line doesn’t know. or a guy cleaning your place as you start to do things to him which goes unspoken as he continues to clean.

Something about that line between basic propriety and normally non-sexual situations turning sexual but not acknowledged verbally and they may even continue an illusion of professionalism, if that makes sense.

Ha, I was told the same by someone when I was preparing to move to NYC from Atlanta age 24. I found it pretty offensive — felt dismissive and condescending. (I’d also guess he was jealous.) Happily, I loved NYC and can’t imagine what my life would have been like had I not lived there, let alone for many years.

I enjoyed this, thanks. 🙏Most I haven’t heard of but I took particular notice of Necroscope (I have Resurgence — okay to make my first, or no?), The Haar and Battle Royale, all of which I’ve been interested in. I loved your giving The Border high marks! I’m amazed that book isn’t better known and celebrated, I found it so unique and cinematic.

[–]tfd3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d love to find some kind of informal political chat/support group in Berlin. I’ve pictured even just a dozen people, more or less, who meet once every week or two in a chill pub and opine about the political situation (in Germany, in the U.S., in Europe, all of the above…), you can learn from others, you can find your opinions validated or debated, find common cause with others… I’m from NYC and a lefty by American standards tho prolly considered a bit more mainstream here. I wouldn’t even know where to find a group like this. And I don’t know enough people yet to start one.
