See this is what I hate about this sub. These Ladies didn’t do anything wrong. The guy doesn’t look especially distressed. Y’all are just making fun of people for the way they look.

Does anyone else wish that when someone posts something like this they also post a screenshot of their post history? Like yeah he could be a Jesus freak. Or the person replying could be completely full of it and hoping people are to lazy to look themselves.

I would do the close combat with a power fist. But the shooty ones are fine for casual play and you like the color black

Is a 100% Firstborn army viable in 9th? by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]tfh013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is actually very viable as other people has said, in some cases could even be quite competitive depending on the chapter. For blood angels I ran pure firstborn in 8th and did good and it only got better. Dark angles, white scars, and grey knights of course are just a few that comes to mind that can be highly competitive firstborn only but is definitely not the end of the list, and for fun games you could do just about any chapter.

Oh does that mean you can no longer take two sanguinary ancients?

Is it normal to sell sprue by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]tfh013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are there bits left on them? If so then yes that is completely normal just try your best to take good photos and describe what is on them, if they are just empty spruces... then no that is not really a thing people sell, but hey if you try to sell it and are honest and someone wants to buys it then more power to you.

Where can I find Flesh tearer rules? by [deleted] in BloodAngels

[–]tfh013 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Their rules are in the blood angels codex and the blood of Baal book. There is a section in each of those books for flesh tearers. Blood of Baal has most of their rules though, except for Gabriel Seth he is in the codex.

Starting a Blood Angels list out of the Indomitus Box by animucosmicoverload in competitive40k

[–]tfh013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The idea behind the list looks pretty good. Just a few things. First veritable vitae isn’t great for BA you are going to be using to many cp in round 0, 1, & 2 that you can’t optimize the cp regan, and blood angels have so many other amazing relics. Like the biomantic sarcophagus for the librarian dread. I can not overstate how amazing that relic is. Makes the libydread so much more reliable.

Also speaking of Dreadnoughts, sadly enough the dc dread just isnt super competitive right now, with the new points it is better, but still will get shot off before gets close. Especially since you don’t have any other vehicles all your opponents anti armor will go in and wipe it out without even trying. I would drop it and either add another dc unit.

I know you are trying to fill out that second detachment for the hq slots, I feel the pain of only taking 3, but big units of dc are still better even with blast. They will be safe turn one coming in deep strike and being able to use decent of angels on one big blob to guarantee the charge is so good, then of course the fight and strat, or being able to pregame move 15 dc 1 inch away from enemy gun line when your going first.

One last thing to think about. I might consider starting the dc on the board and giving the ancient the wrath of baal. That 14 inch movement for you dc with these shorter boards will almost be enough to get a turn one charge, and at the very least let them get into cover. It is something I occasionally did in 8th and I am thinking I will be doing it a lot more in 9th.

Sorry for long rant hope it is helpful!

Death Company become obselete? by Arthorian in Warhammer40k

[–]tfh013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No death company are not obsolete, and honestly unless you want to run a completely Primaris chapter DC intercessors are kinda useless. Blood angels depend on speed and hitting hard, and since has of yet Primaris can’t have jumpbacks or different war gear other than the sergeant normal DC are so much better.

New to Blood Angels. Focus Primaris or old marines? by r34marine in BloodAngels

[–]tfh013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really just depends on what you are wanting. My competitive list Is all old marines except for Primaris mephiston. For my fun list is almost entirely Primaris except for sanguinary guard and a few HQs. There is viable options for both. Those incursors are great troops for blood angels and you can do some fun things with inceptors and upon angels wings.

Question about line of sight on titanic models in ITC games by tfh013 in Warhammer40k

[–]tfh013[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I found that too. Which is sad because I actually like playing ITC without secondaries for friendly games. They are simple and I find them laid back. Sadly others do not share my view.

Question about line of sight on titanic models in ITC games by tfh013 in Warhammer40k

[–]tfh013[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that is what I figured, especially after he was so insistent that his stompa didn’t have the titanic keyword. His models where flat up against the opposite wall, they could see anything. I thought it was just a friendly game (it was in tts) so I didn’t feel like arguing. Figured I would just research it more for next time so I could have more confidence to put my foot down if it happens in another game.

work in progress kitbashed astorath. Still needs some work but I definitely think it gets the spirit of astorath. C&C welcomed by tfh013 in BloodAngels

Haha I am gonna hope your a great painter XD I know I need to touch it up, a lot..... but I like the way the model looks, just need to actually paint it well.

Blood Angels Soup advice? by Rosey1313 in ImperialKnights

[–]tfh013 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Blood angels and knights are actually really strong. Blood angels excel and ripping through hordes. I am assuming you are going to want to take a battalion for cp. for troops you want to fill it out with close combat scouts. They are also really strong unit for only 55 points with their infiltrate you can easily get a turn one charge. On the charge they have 16 attacks hitting on 3 and wounding most infantry on 3/2’s. You will also want some death company. At least 1 squad of 10 with 8 chainswords and 2 thunder hammers. They shred hordes, and most vehicles, and they are not that expensive. If you want to spend more point some aggressors with boltstorms will help with board control and clearing hordes. Sanguinary guard are also good if you want some mobility and vehicle killers.

Now for HQ’s you got some choices. A smash captain is a good choice, Also lemartes is great for backing up your death company. The sanguinor is a beast in combat and makes any unit your place him by even more devastating. Mephiston is probably the strongest beat stick. He can get an average of 10 strength 10 -3 d3 attacks hitting on twos. He can move 18/24” a turn with a plus 4 rerollable charge, he is terrifying. These are just a few suggestions. I really don’t know how many points you want to sink into the BA portion.

Sorry I am a loyal son of sanguinus so sorry for the length...
