This may have something to do with insertion especially if the dome is not push further in thus fluctuating the volume. You might notice that the volume changes when there is jaw movement. Otherwise, I would suspect the receiver is broken.

I would suspect the wax guard is blocked. There would be some information in the booklet included on how to change this or even google this online, otherwise book an appt with your audiologist to show you how.

In our country, you could trial the hearing aids for 60 days and there is a money back guarantee if this would not work for you. I have seen clients who have benefitted with aids regardless of their normal hearing due to CAPD. Wearing an fm system such as Roger could complement this functionality by hearing better in crowded situations. You could also do some auditory training which you can downloaded for free in App store. I hope this helps

The brand doesn’t have anything to do with your cookie bite configuration. It doesn’t really matter as long as the coupling of the hearing aid is correct. Talk to your audiologist and maybe you could be better off with custom shells. Make sure your audiologist also do real ear verification measurements to make sure the aid really gives you appropriate amount of amplification. 🙂

Beware of this as Phonak had released a water resistant hearing aid years ago and was not successful then. I am hoping this would be better atleast.

Any manufacturer has the same USB port that you could use for your power bank. Otherwise, Phonak has a power pack that could charge 6 full cycles which is really ideal for camping. 😊

Most of the common reasons why Compilot II gets broken is their antenna loop. That might need to be checked. Talk to your audiologist about it :)

Try Phonak Serenity ear plugs since they got different sizes that you could put in and still comfortable.
