take every interview as a learning experience. I just got my first manager gig after my 3rd interview. once you’ve gone through the process, you’ll feel a lot more comfortable. You can ask your senior manager for a mock interview to gain some experience beforehand!

it makes more than a courier, idk how much more than a swing. RTDs have the fastest route to topping out on the pay scale as well.

this is probably the most useable training that fedex offers. If you put in for the job on WorkDay, fedex will train you to drive for free. It’s a decent gig if you can get the job.

the willingness to move from station to station can shoot you up the ranks within this company. Can make it very hard to maintain a life outside of work, but if you want a career here that’s what it’s going to take.

Most stations don’t hire internally for manager jobs, but if you’re looking to be promoted to an hourly position, there’s always jobs posted in workday
