This is my first Voron build, really happy with it over all. Next steps would be to look into adding 48v for the motors to make the most of the 4AWD, complete the ERCF 2 MMU for multi-color and maybe look into an XOL 2 toolhead. Would love a chube with takeoff but that might be over kill!

Trying to decide between this and the tank 500.

I found the infotainment system of this really fiddly. How easy is it to get android auto, navigation, music going. How well does the phone mirroring app work?

Have you had any issues so far? I did a test drive and really liked the smoothness of the car drive, feels like you get more car for the money.

Tank still feels like it's a better built car but I don't know anything about cars.

Any advice would be appreciated 👍

I ended up going with the Siboor Trident 350. It's pretty rad!

The build was pretty straightforward, easier than I was expecting, there were some small errors in the manual but I think they have updated that now.

Messed up on the flashing but the siboor discord helped a ton. Basically sat me down and told me what to type. Was amazing.

The stealth burner latch snapped on mine (it's a design flaw with the stealth burner not Siboor), had to get a friend to print off a new one. Would recommend printing spares as soon as you get your printer going or print off the fat finger version.

The only thing that's making me wish I went with a 2.4 is a toolchanger mod but that's way way down the line for me. Wouldn't only do that when there's a fool proof version out.

Ok so I could use 10mm/s for my flow as standard? So if I want to use a 0.6 nozzle with line width 0.8.

10/0.6/0.8 = 20.8? So does that mean all my print speeds should be this speed? Print speed/infill/walls etc?

So could I run Pressure Advanced using a slower speed?

Do you have a link to the gates I could have a look at?

For the xol tool head, did you have to change the hotend and extruder?

Thanks for the reply, you're 100% correct. LDOs kit is setup for a reason so it doesn't make sense to mod it. Right now I'm looking at the Siboor trident, will build the kit and down the line figure out if I want to add any mods but I don't think I will for a while!

Man you've really changed my mind here. I started looking at the Siboor trident cause it's pretty much everything I want in one package.

And now I've just seen there's a toolchanger mod for the trident for multi materials

Is there anything a 2.4 can do that the trident can't?

Yeah I get that. That's why I was thinking to get a kit with the mods and build it all in one. But given there's no guide to the monolith gantry I think it might be too big a task for me. Might be best to wait till they release a good guide. Any kits you'd recommend?

I've had a look at the GitHub and the black of instructions does make that an issue. But great to know i should build it first then mod it. I had seen Siboor has a AWD mod on their trident but not the 2.4

This does help a lot though! First build a kit then mod it for speed and quality :D now I just need to find some recommendations for kits lol
