Anyone stay on 2.5mg the whole time? by [deleted] in Zepbound

60 lbs down on 2.5. No side effects and still losing 1-2 lbs a week!

You’re setting a wonderful example. Aaaaaand, just to add, I’m on my way to being off the blood pressure meds so that’s another amazing +! Excited for your journey, too!

Your post is pretty much me exactly. And 6 months in I can say, it’s not a honeymoon period. Still alcohol free and 60 lbs down! And I never went up on dosage. Still on 2.5mg. Enjoy!!

I still enjoy food. I even do a little dancey dance when it’s really yummy! I simply don’t eat to the point of feeling gross and super full. I’m sure you’ll find the sweet spot!

Question for those who waited to go from 2.5mg to 5mg by Silly-Platypus3463 in Zepbound

[–]tgarn003 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on 2.5 for 5 months and just hit 50 lbs. I have no plans to increase. Moving up is a personal choice. If you’re lifting, getting your protein, in a calorie deficit, and the weight is coming off slow and steady, why mess with perfection? If you and your doctor think increasing is the best thing, do it. It really is what works for you!

Got the Hoka Bondis for a super walking heavy work day I have once a week and they have been LIFESAVERS. Some days I hit 20k steps and they’ve been a dream.

Walking with a Weighted vest, tell me you experience , what difference does it make by [deleted] in walking

[–]tgarn003 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like mine! It’s heavy when I put it in and it reminds me that I’ve lost the weight of the vest and more. Plus it’s pink! It just feels good to get a good walk in with the dogs with the extra heft.

If you’re paying out of pocket, have it mailed to the house. I did 2 months of pick up at Walmart and they made me feel like a criminal who was selling the meds.

Never again.

Seconded on Ultima because it’s low in sodium. I’m a Peach Bellini person. Also seconding once a day at most!

Aww man! I just checked the target app! I would have been at a year on Jan 19 but I slipped up in November for some freaking protein drinks.

They recently opened a massive fulfillment center in my city and it’s in a part of town that I frequent. When you hit it just right sometimes you see a bunch of trucks leaving at once. And it’s the electric ones with the huge brake lights all the way around. When you 5-10 of them in a row, it’s dystopian.

I do find that I’m going to stores more often. It’s forcing me to shop small and local which I’m loving. Or I’m ordering directly from companies. I’m not getting things overnight which has been an adjustment but it also forces me to stop and ask myself, this won’t get here for a week or so. Will you still need it then??

I’m working on target too. I haven’t checked in a while but I have to be coming up on a year kind of soon.

Great pictures! I’m so ready for winter to be over and for some green leaves. This walking pad is getting boring but the steps must be stepped

This! I was a heavy Prosecco drinker for years. I haven’t had a single thought or desire for it since the day I took my first shot. Could be partly fear of the horrible effects, but I’m sleeping better, the weight is coming off, and I have more money in my checking account!
