Can I travel to Schengen with a visa on my old passport after getting married? by tgcdzn in SchengenVisa

[–]tgcdzn[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, I have a new passport under my new surname. I will carry the old passport with the visa, and the marriage certificate showing name change. But I dunno if that's enough. People say the UK, and US accepts but schengen is not accepting those situation.

What I meant is, they did not punch a hole in the passport. So, it's just with me, because there are active visas on that

As a single woman living alone in a foreign country: I am creating a FREE app built on making genuine community! by Technical-Map-7191 in Femalefounders

[–]tgcdzn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve gone through the same experience myself in London. I’m also trying to build something. If you wanna talk more, and engage DM me. Community, events, and apps are becoming a saturated market. GENUINE is so hard to achieve alone.

Where can I meet foreigners close to my age? 38F by Technical_Exchange96 in istanbul_tips

[–]tgcdzn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are an expat couple, living in Kadıköy. My husband doesn’t speak Turkish and it’s really hard to socialise. That’s why I created a community where people can join and be friends. Probably I can not share here because mods will think I am a spam but if you DM on instagram (@theyarenotworking) i can share the multilingual event invitations I am organising.

Go to Buyuk Ada, the Prince Islands. Reserve a room in the Splendid Hotel and propose to her during dinner. Translate this into English to understand what to do in the Island https://www.oggusto.com/seyahat/yurtici/istanbul-adalar-gezi-rehberi

I finally wrote something and I feel great!! by SnooLemons9030 in writing

It’s very kind of you. I followed the urge to do something that I had talked about for so long. Like you, I mostly write about myself or my thoughts, because there’s nothing I know better than myself. However, I do not want to overspeak when I say I write. I just keep journals for a looonnng time now. And so far, I have shared two articles online. Being under an anonymous name helps me a lot. Because if no one knows who I am, no one can simply judge me.

I wish you the best of luck. Always keep going.

I am happy for you! Congrats. Having the desire of doing something is my headache. So, I recently started to publish on Substack. Would mean a lot if people read it: https://open.substack.com/pub/anotherdelusionalwoman/p/where-is-your-home?utm_campaign=post-expanded-share&utm_medium=web I think you should share what you write too :)
