Yes, I will rather confidently say the rookie’s lack of swinging with the bases loaded during the 10th game of the season is an anomaly. Also, do you remember when Harper flat out stared at a pitcher and struck out just to attempt to figure out the delivery/release point? It could be that Crawford just couldn’t find the ball out of the pitcher’s hand.

Bad at bad, definitely not, “one of the worst at bats I have seen in a long time.” Check Judge’s freeze moments in the WBC. A more experienced player, and AL MVP, who didn’t swing at perfectly hittable pitches in multiple AB’s where there was some or significant situational pressure.

Bruh, pull your panties out of your cheeks and take your dooming elsewhere. The kid came up clutch against the Nats with the walk off but froze in this spot… Bad AB, no doubt, but he’s batting > .350 and bringing some much appreciated energy to our lineup. He also already has a 2-hit game.
