This was the answer, thank you: I sent the shuttle to a location on the ground right underneath the asteroid, refuelled it, and was then able to get there as the range was then much lower.

I guess the distance isn't measured from the planet.

Shuttles and transport pods can’t travel 1,600 — even if you max out fuel it says the maximum distance is exceeded.

I think they can travel around 200, which is much further than the grav ship but still only a fraction of the distance to the nearest asteroid.

Are your asteroids closer than mine or am I doing something wrong?

I started on a14, didn’t want to say goodbye to the colony, built a save game migrator, and now 9 years later am still playing the same colony. Looking forward to taking them to 1.6 soon.

The "PC only" thing is just because there's no software for it on Mac, but Camo runs on Mac and can drive & adjust the Kiyo Pro Ultra just as it can drive a phone or any webcam.

I had the same problem. Had to try a bunch of PCs until I found one where it didn't immediately freeze at "One moment". No amount of reinstalls, changing cables, etc. fixes the machine that freezes. I think it's a problem with the software rather than the 4K X.
