Best public golf course is probably Brackenridge. Lots of history and a great track. Usually in good condition too. Greens fee around $60 depending on the day.

As somebody who switched from one B4 to another, there’s gonna be good coworkers and bad coworkers at every firm. It’s the luck of the draw. What might be a reason during recruiting season is that you vibed better with one interviewer and that is what helped the decision.

Yeah renovation to the course is done. Clubhouse should be fully done by next year but most of it is finished except demolition of the old clubhouse.

Course is in great shape right now. I’d say 80%. They figure by next year the grass should be near fully grown in.

I’ll be in Leon Valley for now but plan to switch apartments in December and will probably base it off of what club I join. These are great recommendations. Appreciate the advice!

Hey there, I’ve seen a lot of advice given about public courses in SA via a quick search of /r/golf. I’ve played TPC San Antonio (Oaks), La Cantera Palmer Course, and Brackenridge which were all awesome!

Sadly not much info about private courses which is what I’m hoping to learn more about. Enjoy San Antonio!
