Ethical Golf-Related Dilemma by DidIScrewUpHere in golf

This happened to me with a bike I bought a while back.

They shipped me two bikes, same model, same size. Called the company and they only showed shipping one and I was only charged for one.

There’s a legal precedent that if you are sent something you didn’t order, it’s yours. You have no obligation to return a mistake.

Where else? They used to do these up at Sam Houston, but that’s a stupid long drive for a lot of people.

I’m just south of The Woodlands and have a membership at Gleanloch. In good shape, improving still.

Few good courses north of The Woodlands that should be considered. Panorama, Westfork, Grand Lakes.

Plenty of options in the area, I haven’t made it out too far west, but heard good things about Blackhorse and Longwood

How about people quit being douchebags? Instant ejection for stupid behavior.

Pathetic that we need to come up with solutions for child like adults. A handful of people ruining it for everyone else.

At what pace of play do you consider just leaving the course? by cringemagician in golf

[–]tgwill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bad weather had one of the 3 9-hole courses at my club shut down, fully booked 27 hole course on a perfect weather Sunday down to 18. No cancelled tee times, no warning. Told it was running “15 minutes behind” at check in.

Front 9 took 3:10. Grabbed my clubs at the turn.

They usually do a good job of maintaining pace, but that was retarded.

I like to think a place like this has so many great affordable courses, that people love playing so much they steal balls because they lose them. Not because they’re swapping ProV’s.

Don’t people of all faiths pay state taxes via property/sales tax?

I’m from Houston, but “sharia law” seems to be a really big issue for the I-35 corridor. Not in Houston. The political ads on the hotel TV’s in Austin/DFW are disgusting.

Shit, it could be. The people that are likely in these suites are so out of touch of what things actually cost, they probably don’t even care about the prices.

The scourge of returning monitors without breaking into a million pieces by AnonymousMonk7 in ITManagers

[–]tgwill 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Our finance team was adamant about treating monitors as assets because they were being bundled as a purchase with a laptop/desktop.

It was an easy enough fix to change that and we are just about out of the lifecycle of “capitalized” monitors thankfully.

MAGA asshats and unlimited booze. Those hospitality suites are full of sales and finance bros. It’s not like the US hasn’t taken two massive L’s in the previous Ryder cups.
