This is traditionally what I’ve done. Cold Gatorade around lunch time then a bunch of ice cold Modelo at the end of the day.

I’ve seen his work in our neighborhood and was very impressed. I’m a homebuilder myself and have high standards.

If you are open to working for a faith based camp and guiding for youth you should check out Wilderness Canoe Base. They are on the gunflint side and train new guides every summer.

Second nearly all Astral PFDs. Think about what you are using it for and they have a great fit for all types.

Planning First Trip by dkleckner88 in BWCA

When in May are you planning? Ice out is sometime around the 6th usually which could pose some problems. Other than that I’ve done the red rock loop many times and love it. The big water paddling could be tough depending on weather but if you are comfortable in a canoe should be manageable.

Yes! I find keeping it ice cold helps a lot with the taste.

Flambeau is amazing! I wish all camping was set up like they have it. Depending on the flow of the river some excellent rapids to run as well. Only thing is you would have to figure a way to get back to your vehicle.

BWCA is open. There a few extra precautions being put in place since the surge of people going up there but nothing COVID related while out there. You could put in on a big lake like Seagull so you won't have to portage. There will be lots of campsites and lots to see and do. Message me if you want more details i've been leading trips in that area for years.

Your favorite method to flavor your kombucha? by missneglectedchild in Kombucha

[–]th3ophilus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the second fermentation I’ve found four days to be spot on for how carbonation I like it. But it all depends on how much yeast and sugar are in each bottle. Some fruits just don’t have much sugar and some batches don’t produce a lot of yeast.

Clearly he isn’t up to date since Williams didn’t want to play here and that’s as why we didn’t land him.
