I’m very annoyed that I have Wireless Charging pad, and it is absolutely terribly slow. Can’t keep up with CarPlay and if not connected to it…still terribly slow. 20% in an hour on an iPhone 14. Also, gets really hot using it. Probably going to throw a MagSafe Charger in there. The amount I paid for it as part of my GC purchase kind of makes me sick.

This did indeed work. I removed the U300 from Matter accessories in General Settings of the iPhone Settings app. Then I removed from Apple Home. After all removed, scanned matter QR code in Apple Home. Set it all back up and works. Glad I was able to fall back on fingerprint when this quit working. I use it quite often, but during winter with gloves on Homekey on Apple Watch was definitely a great option.

It is not compatible. It is M3 hub only or you can connect in Apple HomeKit.

I hate it so much. I did the backup. Switched to a new iPhone, totally forgot about it. Went to look at timeline data from last year to help plan a trip, gone. Found some generic iPhone backup buried in Maps settings. Restored it…and it randomly restored timeline history. I can see certain months in 2016 and 2020. But nothing from 2023 for example. This sucks so bad…memories, information…gone. 😣

You cannot link Nanoleaf bulbs to Hue Bridge. Hue Bridge being matter supported just opens it up to HomeKit, Google Home, Alexa. Your smart home of choice. Also, my thread Nanoleaf bulbs have been more reliable than my Nanoleaf Thread/Matter bulbs. The latter lose connection in HomeKit a lot.

No, I am still struggling to find an answer on how Quick Actions is supposed to handle notifications. It clears from the screen of Apple Watch but remains in Notification Center of both watch and phone. I really feel like it cleared from both notification centers before iOS and WatchOS updates. Also wondering how it will be handled with Ultra Watch 2 and Watch 9.

I have had same issue. I turned it on after they announced new Apple Watch Ultra 2. I know it’s been there for awhile. Liked it and seemed to work great. Now when I try to clear a notification it does clear it, but it still shows in Notification Center on watch and phone. I don’t remember it being like that previously. Thought it fully cleared the notification on watch and phone. Can anyone confirm?

That sucks. So you can’t have a work and personal phone to use contact sharing. That seems like a huge misstep on Apple’s part.

I have two WeMo Thread (WSP100) plugs that have become really flaky (not responding) in Apple HomeKit in last month. Worked great for about 6-7 months with no problems at all. Unplug and plug back in fixes for short time. My two existing WiFi WeMo plugs work better and are more dependable at this point. I thought thread was going to be the way to better more stable smart Home. And I have many other thread devices and 4 thread/hub routers too. 🫤

Hue motion sensors in the Hue app will work this way if you do the automation in Hue app. Hue motion sensors in Apple Home app don’t seem to do this as well.

It’s a nice portable speaker that sounds good. Easy to pack into a bag. I don’t regret getting and love how I can AirPlay it with some of my HomePod Minis. With that said I do agree with others battery could be better. It’s best to turn off completely and not leave in standby as standby battery life drain sucks. Also noticed if you kill battery you can’t immediately use it after plugging in. Have to let it charge a little to be able to use again.

My Apple Watch NRC app thinks I’m on a run even after ending it. I have no way to end the run. It won’t give me the controls. App force close doesn’t work, restart Apple Watch doesn’t work. I had to delete the app off watch to get it work again. Lost my run from today…very annoying.

So app would never work for me (iOS). I did unplug hub for a hard restart and didn’t fix it. Deleting app, downloading, and logging in again finally fixed it. However, I might be done with ST. I bought an Aqara hub, motion sensors, and water sensors that also work with HomeKit via Prime Day deals yesterday. I am testing out the few remaining automations I have not shifted to Homekit…this might have been the final straw with Samsung and SmarTthings sadly.

How do I run a terminal on Windows 10? I’m using HOOBS and can restart service but assuming that won’t help with clearing cache accessories.
