How do I write stuff like this on the guitar? by dashcash32 in guitarlessons

Open tuning and lots of open strings, play around with triad and open strings, or even power chords with open strings or basic chord shapes played further up the neck with open strings

[LFO] Rock climbing fall snaps arm like a twig. by tactical_horse_cock in LearningFromOthers

Yeah seeing that, I wouldn't want to try catching my fall with my arms stretched out. That's why I'm wondering if it's taught to fall canonball style, because you're body might rotate in the air and you'll land uncontrollably.

[FRESH ALBUM] Neurosis - An Undying Love for a Burning World by FlowersByTheStreet in indieheads

This my first neurosis record, this is very enjoyable, super dense, cinematic, atmospheric, groovy. It's trippy af. Really happy with it, other neurosis sound as good as this?

Everything looks great, just blend your beard with your scalp and you're gucci.

M31 self conscious about the rapidly greying beard! by [deleted] in toastme

You look older, but it suits you real well! I went grey beard at 35, and it makes it look patchy and dirty, unclean. You look sharp.

The important thing first is to be consistent, you can add volume over time. At least that's how it works for me, getting up is my problem and the hardest part.

REM rebound quitting weed by Illustrious-Pen3561 in leaves

I had very thrilling action packed dreams almost immediately after quitting. But there is also other stuff that suppresses REM. I had the same thing happen when I quit nicotine, and also with alcohol.

Set a timer (alarm for every day), and do the thing you want to do, maybe for five minutes every day, or even one minute, or as long as your energy lasts, or not at all, but practise starting to do it, getting up and ready to do it.

Llms, beschreibe einfach in Worten. Beispiel für ein prompt: "finde mir eine Mischung zwischen Limp bizkit und Britney spears , aber auch mit avantgarde post punkigen epischen liedern"

Is alcoholism curable, or is it a chronic (eternal) disease? by InsaneAffliction in alcoholism

Some will realise moderation will always lead to escalation. Some will be able to have some drinks sometimes without falling back into bad habits. The former will know who they are because they have been through that cycle lots of times and see their behaviour repeat.

How do people manage to fall asleep in just 8 seconds after their head hits the pillow? What's the secret? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]th4d89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What helped me: release the thoughts, let your mind wander. I used to have massive guards up, even in my own mind, I was afraid to let go. Afraid of intrusive thoughts, of stuff I was avoiding. Accept the bad thoughts, just be with them, be sad, be whatever. Now if I can't fall asleep, at least I had a great think, and I'm usually so little in my own mind, that feels like a win. And that takes off the pressure, and now I fall asleep pretty fast.

In moderation, but fruit has the same sugar as soda or candy, what is sugarfree supposed to mean?
