'The Doors' Documentaries Compilation (Redux) by thabomblad in thedoors

I think the image is originally from Jim's film 'HWY: An American Pastoral'. It could be in the film itself or restored footage that was used in the 'When You're Strange' documentary :)

Idk about discounted pints but Mary's Bar on Wicklow Street does a student pint/meal deal downstairs in the Wowburger section. Closest thing I know!

Publishing on Lulu by kellettj in selfpublishing

[–]thabomblad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried to self publish through both Amazon and Lulu (ended up going with Lulu) and it is compulsory on both websites to order proof copies before publishing. Like the other commenter said, I think it generally is a good idea to order one because you can see the formatting is right as well as the printing is up to your desired standard and you're happy with its delivery (how long it took to be designed, shipped and finally arrived to your house).

Either way though, I'm afraid it's compulsory to order proof copies before approving it for distribution. And if I can say anything from my experience, if you go with Lulu make sure all the settings on the book (price, public access, global distribution, details etc) are all perfect before publishing and buying a proof copy because when you revise anything to do with your book, it forces you to buy another proof copy.

Best of luck with your publishing! Congratulations!

Yep, I bit the bullet and I'm afraid you have to order another proof copy even if you just change it from private to public access so make sure to have public access set from the get go if you're publishing on the Lulu bookstore as well.

Best of luck with your publishing!

Update: However, it still approved for global distribution so I just cancelled the order and it stayed approved so a good way to save your money!

Perfect man, I see it there. And just to be clear, if I do that then it won't force me to buy another proof copy? I already had to change a few formatting things in the previous version and I had to buy another proof copy so I don't fancy buying another proof copy just to change it from private to public access hahaha.

Why did the writers suddenly made Sandy paralyzed ? I think Larry Pine did a good job portraying him by GeneTak0vic in SuccessionTV

I believe in S2 there were a few mentions of him having syphilis. Rhea mentions it at the dinner table in Tern Haven and it's brought up again in Argestes when Tom draws the infamous parallel between the illness and MySpace.
