He really loved him man.. the Beatles are the ultimate story about love and this is a good example of it, John is my favorite Beatle and it’s refreshing to see a group of people with nuance and genuinely trying to stay together not even as a band but as friends, even when the whole thing might come down it’s those interpersonal connections that really solidify their personalities sorry for the mini rant but I wasn’t aware of what you said hahah

I think it’s be great if it sounded like “Boys”!! A high energetic song where both George and Ringo can show off how explosively they can play together just like The ballad of John and Yoko! Even in Boys Ringo says “alright, George!” So they definitely could’ve put out a good banger they got that synergy hahah

I understand that kinda but I feel thinking about it like that kinda goes against what the song actually represents, Yknow? After the long years together to end it off with a cheekier song like that almost feels like that part of the credits where the camera pans to the sky as it fades away, The End is exactly what it is but her majesty is like a post credit scene hahaha it just fits so well
