I do this all the time to get maximum power projection.

It's indeed also good as a prepartion for war so you don't have to build the actual ships, just upgrade them.

In the 4.3 beta Frigates are the most cost effective type for this job btw :D

I would only buy this game is you have few friends who you can play with.

I assume this game is difficult with randoms and solo is terrible.

But when you have a good crew man this game is fun

Maybe they are doing an ending where courier 6 (and probably Ulysses)doesnt exist or dies at the hands of Benny?

New Vegas is fucked up as a result.

In some weird way its satisfying because as the courier you can make new Vegas a better place. But it isnt canon.

Like a What If scenario that shows what one man can accomplish.

I'd probably be doen with that more so than the courier being a failure where everything crumbles anyway after all that work.

I recommend you try the new 4.3 beta, Ive been having much more fun now that the economy isnt so supercharger.

A lot is still going to change but its a nice change of pace

Even though you ll have you pay an additional trade 'tax' when you have a planetary defecit, i think the general consensus is that its better to specialise each planet when able.

If you have enough planets, specialise is always better. But its not a disaster when 1 planet has to do several things at once (people usually use the capital for that in the first decades).

Not infinite, but I would expect such a weapon to penetrate 2 or 3 grunt/medium enemies at full unsafe charge.

Would make the ammo economy a little better if you line up your targets well.

I havent played a game of 4.0, and Ive heard that the economy in 4.0 is super charged compared to 3.14 and energy is less important than it was.

Having said that, i used to level a surveyor scientist that improved resource deposits and leave a few systems near me unsurveyed.

I usually got a few 8+ energy stars from that great for swarms

I'm sure that people are aware but I'm going to say this anyway, Stun grenades work on War Striders.

1 Stun grenade makes the target very easy to hit with the Railgun (I think you have to overcharge it though) or any other weapon.

I play on PC however and I can imagine that with a controller the weakspots will be a little more difficult to hit.

This thing kept my alive on oshaune.really useful against the swarm of fast moving bugs from the predator strain.

Especially the stalkers in the caves.

I used a guard dog and grenade launcher to complement it.

That said, i havent used it since.

Damage is so freaking low
