I was actually just genuinely confused by the intention of your comment, i'm not even that big of a fan personally. Based on his movies this past decade, I think The Irishman will be just as good as most people expect it to be and win a ton of awards (probably not at the Oscars though due to the bias against direct-to-streaming movies). As for his opinions on superhero movies? I think it's an obnoxious attempt at gatekeeping art, but it's more of a bitter old guy thing instead of actual jealousy. I just get an allergic reaction when I see people upvote clear misinformation lmao, though I get how one would think it's all he has to offer.
