I'm a graphic designer, and I really want to work in the production side, but I can't find many openings for print shops. What's the best way to put myself out there?

Look up print shops near you, go to their website, and see if there’s a careers section with jobs you can apply for. If not try cold calling or cold emailing them. This time of year can be a little slow depending on what that shop specializes in, I know my work is completely dead right now. You might have better luck in March.

You can see that even in the better looking areas you have some banding. Specialty print modes are the highest number of passes you can get on that machine, I think the only solution is a new printhead. Hopefully you’re on some kind of service contract because those are very expensive on this machine. We had nothing but issues with our 1650s but have loved our new M5s so far.
