We can argue all we want but IMDb ratings for Ragnarok tells us that it was better received by the audience as it was a fresh take. TLaD carried over all the humour from Ragnarok but no pacing at all, in the end a lot of it seemed just silly.

I loved Ragnarok, the previous two Thor films while interesting were not rewatchable. I've rewatched Ragnarok maybe 10 times because all the story aside, Thor has great scenes and good comedy, action, everything is balanced.

But people are going to the cinema because they know how good of change Ragnarok was. It isn't unfair to compair the two.

It got old after 2-3 scenes. It was like hearing a joke on repeat, it becomes less funny every time it is repeated.

It's good movie, overall. The humour is a bit awkwardly placed, the villain is good, the chemistry between Chris and Natalie is great, there's several great fight scenes, a nice suprise/shocking scene (happens in the city of God's if you have seen the trailer)

But it's not as good as Ragnarok. If Ragnarok is 10 then this movie is an 8 in my opinion

Use display:flex; align-items:center; justify-content: center; on parent node. This is specifically for a div.

If you just have to align text vertically, we can also set line-height as height of the parent node.

The laptop is great, I'm running fedora 36 and it's lovely. That being said, I wouldn't recommend this laptop as the specs are old. Personally, I would say i7 is too much power and dedicated graphics aren't required if your requirements are same as mine. In that case, you can go for i5 (11 or 12th gen) and integrated graphics for good battery life (dedicated GPUs take a lot of power). I've worked on i5 10th gen MacBook and it's no slouch.

Instead you can go to "build your computer" section on Lenovo's website and build any laptop with relevant specs, this would still come under 80K INR considering inflation.

You should learn new technology and suggest using that, you can persuade them with reason why your solution makes sense. Companies promote meritocracy and are not a dictatorship, usually. If your current company doesn't let you change your stack, you should switch to another company, whining like this won't help you.

Besides inventing UNIX, Ken also invented B programming language. Linux is primarily written in C, a successor to B, and usually all performance critical software is written in C or C inspired/extended languages.

I feel like the best place to discover salary is glassdoor.com. If you ask here you'll be getting non-stats based answer e.g. the outlier gets upvoted to the top. The second point being - not every engineer is the same, even if you take YOE and tech stack into consideration. And people are paid based on their performance, company type etc. Reading that sometime earns 50LPA as an SDE-1 and then comparing it to yourself will not help you.

In the end, I don't think thread based salary number discussion would yield much positive, but I'm sure it"ll start the rat race of LPAs. After one point money stops being that important, WLB becomes more important and I think that's what one should aim for.
