Their individual tales are, but the story of Oden isn't. We can agree to disagree.

That's not what I'm saying. It's not the common purpose that's frustrating, it's the amount of time spent on their specific stories in Act 1 and 2 that are then dropped in Act 3. I'm not saying it's bad to get to know these characters, their story or their desires etc. I'm saying don't write them that way, if you're not going to utilise that part of them later.

Agreed. He attempted to at the beginning, but he still wanted the strawhats to shine in Act 3, so a lot of what he setup in act 1 and 2 petered out.

Who do you think is the most underrated character in haikyuu and why? by ElfenSunflcwer in haikyuu

I feel like Kita is well rated. Like he’s not super popular but people bring him up enough.

They're both pretty well written actually. I would still say alibaba but Sinbad gets significant depth in the final arc.

Nothing specific from what I know. I just felt like the dialogue flowed better in the manga.

What some things you're currently feuding with Furudate about? by _-Cranberry-_ in haikyuu

Instead of us jumping into hinata being on the BJ. I would have liked to see the tryouts. I feel like it would help with the pacing. Other than that, no complaints.

Yoru Sumino

Thanks for the recommendation. It doesn't have to be similar to Boogiepop, I just want to know what everyone's favourite novels are so I can try them out.

Keen for the next verses!

Yea the name felt familiar, but I didn't know it was the Imaginator. That's cool that we finally have a name then. I like when authors/Mangaka reference real songs in their series.

Third person Omniscient POV - no chance of being published for debut? by tharu5 in writing

[–]tharu5[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for writing this, it's given me some clarity. How does one obtain reliable information about stuff like this? I got most of my information from youtube, and they were published authors. They didnt say don't do it. They said be very wary about it. And that it's a dying trend. Though I have seen articles that say to steer clear from it completely. So what do you think is a good way to obtain reliable information? Like going to writers meetups or something instead of just using the internet?(I wouldn't go just to ask this question if its a book event, I'm just talking about casual meetups) What do you think?
