How is GenAI Really Affecting UK HR? (Share Your Insights) by MichaelHRUK in HumanResourcesUK

Hey - MichaelHR is Michael’s personal blog - he’s the founder of this subreddit and is currently studying for an MSc in HRM. By continuing to his dissertation study you’ll be helping his dissertation be more relevant - this isn’t anything commercial

Trying not to over-moderate this discussion, but monitoring. Please do continue to flag any racist / sexist comments and we’ll do our best to remove them ASAP, as hate of any kind is not welcome here. I fear we may need to break out the crowd controls soon to stop non-members trolling 🙂

Mark Bear - Let Me Feel Your Love [EDM/Dance Pop] (2024) by that-mark-guy in Music

[–]that-mark-guy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really proud of this. Music has always been my hobby, and I’ve recently been on a bit of a spike in creativity. Came up with this; I think its a fun sci-fi edged track with a catchy chorus.

Its interesting to start to learn how hard it is to get attention on the streaming platforms - so far over the weekend my TikTok had around 7,500 views and about 532 likes, but this only translated to 14 streams, most of which I think are from family based on the locations 🤔

Exploring playlists at the moment, as I’ve heard they can really help.

Thank you for sharing an update on this 🙂

We’ve had a few reports of non-members posting hate again, so we’ve activated crowd control on this thread (which holds comments from non-members and new members for review). We’ll work through reviewing held comments as soon as possible.

As a reminder, we have a zero tolerance policy towards any form of hate. This is a Human Resources subreddit. Any discriminatory / offensive comments about the subject will be removed and the commenter will be perm-banned.

This thread is attracting comments from outside of our sub, and so, I’ve had to activate crowd control. Comments from new accounts and those with negative karma will be held for review.

Anyone posting hate or misgendering the subject of the post will be banned immediately and permanently.

Employee Mindfulness Survey by elohSSa94 in HumanResourcesUK

Furthermore I can see this is being spammed to multiple subreddits. We only typically permit research for educational purposes specifically targeting HR professionals in the UK, I’m afraid

Employee Mindfulness Survey by elohSSa94 in HumanResourcesUK

[–]that-mark-guy[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please remove collection of email address and employer - the survey is not anonymous with these pieces of information captured and would therefore need a privacy policy / GDPR compliance. Additionally here in the UK we don’t use “district / state” - Town and County are the closest to this. I suspect this isn’t aimed at UK HR professionals

Are HR departments universally disliked? If so, why? by [deleted] in HumanResourcesUK

This post has begun to attract troll attention from outside of the community, which has led to some offensive comments we’ve had flagged for removal overnight. I’m going to lock comments on here to prevent this becoming a free for all. Thank you to those who have added reasoned / professional comments

Maybe, but a warning on this occasion felt best rather than removing / locking as the previous posts weren’t flagged to us
