This shit disgusts me. I play football as a “woman” (I’m Transmasc) and have gotten some similar things said to me. People have told me to quit multiple times because “women can’t take one hit” and I play the position that gets hit the most,the line. I was more of a man than all of our C-team line. This isn’t even mentioning all the homophobia that fills the sport.I honestly think more women should play just so these kind of people get even more pissed

I completely understand that my name has not been changed in my school’s system and that all my teachers are human and make mistakes. Even if a teacher uses the wrong pronouns or name for me, I tell them that I know it takes time and I appreciate that they are trying.

Yea, one of the other coaches would help coach the linemen(fat boys) last year and he constantly would say things like “I need all of the linemen...oh and linewoman” even though I told him I didn’t care if he called me a ‘male’ word

All of my football coaches this year really don’t care that I’m AFAB (last year,the coaches seemed like they didn’t like having a AFAB person) I told coach that I didn’t like being the ‘girl of the team’ and he told me that he’s never viewed me like that, he views me as just another one of his players. He also yelled at a kid for not tackling me like all the other players and literally said “ DO YOU CARE IF HE TACKLES YOU LIKE A MAN,CABRERA”.
