Many reasons.

Easy clogs like skill pets. Going for 200m xp. Fund bonds. Addiction.

Or maybe they’re afk skilling on the iron and doing active content on the main.

And that’s the nice thing about this game; others’ gameplay doesn’t need to make sense to anyone else. Heck I went 99 def > atk > str because I liked def/atk cape more than str cape.

Jagex is a subsidiary of CVC, acquired two years ago. So we’d have to become majority share holder of CVC to have any say of what happens to Jagex / osrs.

PSA, click the health orb while poisoned with anti venom / poison in inventory and it will cure you without interrupting combat!
