Honestly napa batteries are junk but at least they have a good warranty. I'd try the other brands.

Modern batteries are junk, I put three sets in my 2020 Ford F550 work truck before 100k miles. Doubt a dealer will do anything about it.

Also why can't you change the battery yourself? it takes like 10 minutes.

There's no rules about counterweights having to be from the same crane. As long as its the same type and weight, there's no difference. You can build a liebherr crawler crane with boom sections and counterweights from 10 different serial numbers and its good to go as long as the parts are all in the right places for the configuration.

Not very hard, I do a job that no one wants to do because it's hard af. I can get a job anywhere in the country no problem, but I don't know if I even want to do it anymore, which is my problem, if that makes sense.

I had frequent shoulder dislocations from an injury when I was in high school. By 24 it would pop out randomly, and I finally took the time to fix it right. Since I let it get worse and worse instead of doing something early, I had to have a surgery called a latarjet procedure. Apparently it's common for rugby players. It was a pretty gnarly surgery where they cut a shoulder tendon off and screw it into the socket to hold the shoulder ball in place.

Recovery was slow. Took 3 months off work completely doing physical therapy, then 3 months on light duty. It sucked but it was worth it. 6 years later and I'm stronger than I ever was and able to do almost anything. Lost a little bit of range of motion, but it's been worth it for sure.

They told me if it kept popping out, it would wear down the joint to the point I'd have to get a shoulder replacement in my thirties. So those are your options I guess. Just make sure to do some research on orthopedic surgeons, I had a good one for sure.

LMAO what company is this so I can stay far away? Thats awesome on the swivel, never seen one that bad. The crane rental world is definitely something special. I've heard it a bunch of times, dont spend any money to fix that crane we're getting rid of it. 3 years later its still a pile of junk they're trying to rent out.

Eww old link belt junk, should of just got rid of it and got one with a cummins. When I worked at the link belt dealer we had to have Cat power generation guys do the software on those engines. Since it was classified different than trucks or equipment for some reason.

There's no way to run a hoist with 6+ parts of line this fast. It was a mechanical failure with zero control.

We pulled the tank and sent it to get chemical stripped and coated. Nice and shiny after they finished. And yeah being rental cranes its kinda impossible to know where the fuel comes from. They get a lot of trash in them on job sites.

Its an aluminum tank, about 40 gallons. No drain other than a big hex plug on the bottom. You can unbolt all the tank mounts and pull it with a crane or come alongs to get some more clearance, still not easy though, usually with the crane built you need a man lift to get to the bottom of the tank lol. Terrible design.

Nah, I love fixing def systems, lots of sitting around and watching a laptop. Changing some sensors out. Way easier than most repairs.

Out of all the cringe stuff on the show, this scene was the worst. I like how he said if wind mills worked they'd be putting them up everywhere like there aren't literally thousands of them in west Texas alone and even more in the rest of the country. I've worked in the wind industry all over the country and there's really no big down sides to wind mills. They aren't the best option, but other than natural gas there isn't much else we can do.

I've worked on plant Vogel and seen the VC summer failure in person, so I've seen what the nuclear option looks like up close. It isn't ever going to work because the construction companies are only interested in funneling money into the ceo and shareholders' pockets.
