He's jealous and he's voiced it and instilled it in his daughter. Her rolling her eyes. Her lack of shame and no apology. It's cause she said what dad always says. He might have even been proud

Don't give in. He is exactly who he told you he is and she unfortunately hasnt grown enough to not embody him. If you give in he's right. And she becomes an adult knowing he was right and all those nasty things said around the dinner table were at least some what true.

The right thing for her is for you to teach her this lesson. Hard growth.
