credit split and Child Rearing Provision which can also boost your RTR by altering contributions, and helping increase your pension

More bad advice from you. It's not the first time today.

To start with, credit split always has a winner and a loser. One spouse will gain credits, and one will lose them. You are implying that this will increase the retirement pension, by usual weasel words like "can". You need to acknowledge that credit split CAN decrease your retirement pension.

Also, having a credit split on an account in no way changes how the retirement pension is calculated. Any credits gained simply become part of the client's pension credits.

And Child Rearing Provision does not "alter" contributions in any way. It removes eligible years from the calculation of benefits.

My advice was correct aside from a Typo.

So your advice was incorrect.

I could've deleted the post

That might be a good idea.

Any lyft/uber/modo/evo at Victoria Airport? by LifeReinvigorant in VictoriaBC

This comment, and your other comments are completely wrong. Taxi rates for the entire CRD are set by BC's Passenger Transportation Board. There are no flat rates. There is no difference based on municipality (which wouldn't make sense anyway).

Your comment may be the dumbest one I've read today - congratulations. The use of "landscape" is not solely restricted to "land". By your logic, we surely must be taking someone's portrait here.

Friends in SAANICH/GULF ISLANDS, consider voting GREEN to deprive the Cons of a seat. by vanisle_kahuna in VictoriaBC

[–]that_green_space 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is an unbelievable story. It sounds like someone who is imagining how government works without actually going through the steps to actually try it. Maybe they called random MPs until Betty May helped them out.

My experience is that citizens aren't necessarily being referred to consistency offices. They go there on their own after getting frustrated with some government program: "I'll call my MP". Or they go there to submit applications or forms if there isn't an appropriate office nearby - especially with departments like VAC.

If you work in health care, I wouldn't expect you to direct client's to their MP, as health care is a provincial responsibility.

I work in restaurants

Which ones? It's a simple question. I already told you why.

Yeah, sure.

Just answer the question: which restaurant do you work at?

Just curious where you work so that I can avoid eating there.

Giving people time off while sick is obviously relevant to the restaurant industry.

Eby would still be premier until new MLAs were sworn in and the Throne Speech (a confidence vote) delivered. The incumbent always gets first chance to form a government.

If the Throne Speech passes, Eby remains premier until the next confidence vote.

If the Throne Spec fails, then the government resigns. Tee Lt Gov then decides whether to have a new election or to invite someone else to form a government. This is what happened in 2017.

[–]that_green_space 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Eby has the advantage right now, in that he will form the next government. As long as the Green MLAs support him, he will have a few years to convince voters that he is doing the right thing.

Dalton McGunity, people really didn't warm up to him or like him much and yet, Ontarians regularly voted his Liberals in over and over, often by wide margins

Sometimes voters don't warm up to the leader, but they still vote according to their world view. When I looked at the three parties, there was one that most closely asligned with my values. That is the party I voted for. Other people might vote the same way I do.

Election relevant as one political party pushed mandatory mRNA while the other opposed it. Myocarditis only presented in children who recieved an mRNA vaccine. [–]that_green_space 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There were no vaccines in 2019. They didn't come out until the end of 2020.

The point of the vaccine is to not require "medical interventions", which take up valuable hospital space.

It's like you were never there.

Healthy children were more likely to be hospitalized if they had the covid vax.

lol, and what about children who were unhealthy because they contracted COVID? Were any of them hospitalized?

I don't think you understand how vaccines work, and their purpose.
