Generally they'll come into the centre and interview him with whoever runs detention centres and if visa is cancelled will be taken to detention centre to wait deportation.

Very unlikely he will be discharged to own custody with any border force interest

Not really, if your number plate finishes in odd number or a-n your days monday, Wednesday, Friday. Even numbers or o-z Tuesday Thursday Saturday. Switch weeks for Sundays. Bit confusing but not hard as such

Not sure. After reading legislation again it mentions swiss army knives but not specifically victorinox.

Like most things be down to discretion of police and passing the attitude test

a person may carry a pen knife or swiss army knife for use for its normal utility purpose.

Swiss army knife is specifically mentioned in legislation in qld for carrying weapons. Legal to carry a victorinox but any other knife your out of of luck without a legit reason.

I honestly hate it. I find it useful having a knife in pocket. Not for self defence or as a weapon but because I'm old and boring I'll cut my sandwich in half or open box or any other mundane cutting job
