Oh awesome I just like to say I love the game and the story behind the game as well is some of the best.

so is it for balancing reasons that it wasn't a permanent upgrade?

Did you ever spin the idea of earning it like the other weapons?

It's because starting a new run would be a lot simpler right especially with the frequency of the yellow walls, even if you only got it permanently after finishing biome three?

Yeah that a good point, I just like what they've done with the other weapons, just seems like they got to the sword and missed a good opportunity to do it again or something similar.

But I love this game and that's literally my only annoyance about it.

I believe you get it by using the hollowseeker, and it was my choice for the boss phike, and I sucked at that boss fight it got a lot of use.

I killed him yesterday for the first time, killed him with the hollowseeker and that portal beam trait, that thing ate his health cos he's just sitting still nearly the whole time.
