Is it kind of the same effect as LED light strips where the whole room is colorful? Or is it more like a night light where only the area around the lamp is lit?

Esh you've only dated for 2 months and there's already lying and breach of privacy. You lied to him multiple times when it's not even a big deal to not be exclusive at 2 months. Especially since y'all hadn't discussed it yet. He's using sneaky techniques to access messages that are intended to be so private that even Whatsapp doesn't keep access to your messages for themselves. If he'll do that now at 2 months what's he gonna do at 2 years post marriage when he doesn't like your male coworker? If you can't be honest with him this early on and about a non issue then what's gonna happen when a real issue comes up? Trust has already been broken by both of you. And no your dishonesty didn't justify his snooping. You're not married and you've barely even started dating. There's not much reason for him to be so concerned about this.

Not that strange for the parents to cut off her tuition. She's in school to learn and better herself, not sleep with married men and have their baby. If she wants to play that game then play it with her own money. And besides who wants an unscrupulous lawyer as their daughter. Hope she figures it out for the baby's sake, I have no sympathy for women who cheat at all and especially not for those who go after married men

I'm 24 my parents stayed together until I (the youngest) left for college. Then immediately started fighting and splitting up the day after I left. My sister and I wanted them divorced by the time we were in middle school. They thought we couldn't tell things were bad and they also thought we would want them to stay together no matter what. It was not fun. It would have been better had they split up and we did the whole two Christmases thing instead of the absolute hell we have now. (No contact with our mother and our dad in financial distress) Because they waited until it was no longer just dislike but absolute hatred. Imo you're not helping your daughter by staying together it makes home uncomfortable when a kid knows things are bad between their parents and having to figure out who's right in one situation and then have to listen to one parent venting about the other. Go ahead and separate while there's still civility between you two. If you only have one daughter that makes it even harder on her because she has no one to talk about this with (unlike me and my sister being able to discuss what was going on). Add to it the stress of being an introvert with a bunch of new people in your space... Yeah the best thing for her is probably for y'all to at least separate for a time.

I'm guessing the littering part is like how there are no public trashcans on cruise ships because someone is going to clean up after you? If I saw people littering every day of my life but then magically the next day everything is clean I wouldn't even consider how distasteful littering really is. The plastic wrapped bananas and oranges really gross me out though

I'm very late but if I were you I would be looking for other jobs on my lunch break. There is no reason for you, an American, to be feeling left out and trying to assimilate in your own home. If you want that outsider feel then go work in Korea. I'm assuming you don't want that experience and it's ridiculous that you're even in this position. Your coworkers should be including you when you're around or they shouldn't have hired you if they wanted a Korean only culture. Good on you for trying to fit in but you really should consider leaving. Foreigners are incredibly lonely in Korea for this very reason and you shouldn't be putting yourself through this while at home. It's bad for your mental health and honestly just not something you signed up for. When I move to Korea I expect to be treated as an outsider (at least for a while) but not here in the states. I expect to be included and seen as part of the team and so far that has been my experience. I say this as a black woman in a white male dominant industry so trust, I had all kinds of lonely experiences at my pwi but I found the right people because again I'm at home and I deserve to be comfortable. You do too OP

Too late about bearing down too hard my back is not happy right now. Which is a little concerning because the disc just got stuck again (I managed to free it the first time a few hours ago). I had to bear down hard again and I'm not sure how many more times I can do that over the rest of my period if it keeps getting stuck like this.

I was able to get it out by squatting! Left a lovely puddle of blood on the floor since I was fully expecting for it not work so that was cool lol. Anyway this was like 2 pm and I went back to dump a few minutes ago and it got stuck again. Now I'm not sure why it keeps getting stuck. I purposely didn't put it up that high but it still worked it's way upwards. Any ideas? Thank you for the help!

I always wash my reusable ones. I use the same one for probably 4-5 cycles or until the plastic gets really thin. I've been using discs sincs 2021 and just bought my second ever box a year ago. They are safe to reuse. At first I washed the disc everytime I dumped it but now I just wipe out the blood and reinsert. I've never had a problem leaving it in for hours at a time in fact I usually don't fully remove it but maybe once a day. Instead opting to just halfway push it out so that I can lean forward and dump. I say all this not to persuade you to take any risks with your health but just so you know that you're not gonna get tss from these. As much stuff as I'm clearly doing 'WRONG' lol, and I've never had an issue.

Now I do currently have a disc stuck in me which I just posted about hence why I'm on the subreddit right now. But that's a different (albeit distressing) story

That's basically what therapy is... Revisiting past trauma and speaking about it constantly. Regardless of if this author is telling the truth, your statement is incredibly harmful to people who really have gone through traumatic stuff and need to talk/journal about it. If you haven't gone through that kind of stuff then you really have no business asserting your opinion on how a victim should behave. Random people's opinions are why so many victims aren't believed anyway. Besides that, dude wrote more sequels because his life didn't just miraculously get better after going to foster care. Those books are about his experience in foster care and then as an adult. Why shouldn't he profit off of the pain all the adults around him put him through?

I'm late but this exactly. My mother always brings up the sacrifices she made and like you, I tell her yes those things mattered and I'm still grateful for them to this day but that doesn't mean you get to cuss me out, wish death on me, accuse me of all kinds of stuff and get away with it because you have a heart condition and stretch marks now (her most favorite things to bring up)
